Great episode. Don't have mega stores like the World Largets Gift Shop in Las Vegas. Such a variety and very interesting to shop via your blog than fly thousands of miles to experience. My family moved to the East coast when I was 2 only planning on staying 3 years. My parents fell in love with their new country and never left! I enjoy watching your trips back to Krefeld! Reminds me of this show that was on public access in Chicago called Wild Chicago where this guy (I think his name was Bill) would go around and visit random places. So much fun , the Bonanza souvenir shop has been around since I was a little kid growing up in Las Vegas. In fact my best friends parents used to be the manufacturers for almost all of the Las Vegas Souvenirs. Sadly now most if not all is made in China. I'm still glad this old school place is still around . Have fun in Vegas .

Hi Mike. Fun tour, thanks! That "Native American" stuff is political Kwatsch. Indian leaders like Russel Means took pride in the term Indian. There's nothing "native" about them, anyway, they came here from South America and from Mongolia, displacing those whe were here before them... who probably also displaced some life form that predated them! I understand, though, it's your good nature, which desires to insult no one. Guess what? On line, SOMEONE will always choose to be "offended" or find another reason to correct you. I went to Vegas 2 years ago for a conference and I made it a point to go to the strat. I took the monorail from Cesar’s to the Sahara and made my way through the casino to the street and was completely shocked by how it looked on that side of town. It had such a weird feel to the area. I really wish I was able to go in this gift shop
