The Lion King is definitely one of the best works Disney has created. I don't care if people say it's copying Kimba the Lion and shit. The plot might be similar but the way Disney presented it was unique, moving, and glorious. It hits you every time you see the movie.

It's more about which one is overrated and celebrated more. People hardly know about Kimba just because it's old school Animé. There are great plots too. One movie was about Animal clones ,that one was great.

I went to the recent performance in Wembley, London. As a massive Hans Zimmer fan I knew I’d enjoy whatever was performed and maybe even get emotional over favourites like The Dark Knight and Gladiator. Yet the Lion King hit me hardest by a mile, and immediately... I was a wreck by the first 30 seconds let alone the end. Such a powerful emotive soundtrack and a wonderful live performance.
