I really enjoyed this drama however I find a lot of hate was pointed at Feng Lin without cause. He did a lot of crap but you have to take into consideration he had been brainwashed and manipulated since he was a kid by Du. Yes he hurt the Empress really bad but again it was only because he was trying to fulfill what he believed to be his mother's dying wish. The moment he realized that he was lied to his whole life he went about setting things straight. The thing is when he fell in love with the Empress he treated her really good. He did everything to protect her amidst a plan that he had already rolling. As for Siyu I do not feel sorry for her at all. She bought her misery wholesale. Lin told her he no longer loved her, begged her not to force the marriage but she just had to have her way. The reality is he never really loved her. Again he was told that his mother wanted them to get married so he agrreed. No doubt this sense of loyalty he mistook as love until he actually really fell in love. If Siyu truly loved him she would not have been able to have him marry another woman. Her true love was to become the Empress and her son ascend the throne under her father's power. I saw somewhere some one commented that Lin was disgusting because he slept with Siyu(his wife) after he believed the Empress dead. Never mind that she told him before many times to give his affection to Siyu. He never touched Siyu when the Empress was alive. What was he the emperor supposed to remain celibate the rest of his life. All in all I was pissed at him but really happy he got back his lover. Ad for Siyu...yeah i don't feel sorry for her at all
