This guy is a genius. The Japanese King of Piano . One of my very favorite composers. ALL of his Tales works are just amazing. Final Fantasy's Nobuo Uematsu sadly is just not as good. Yuzo Koshiro (Sega), Motoaki Takenouchi (Sega RPGs), Masami Ueda (Resident Evil 1-3)... Their music was with me for decades. These guys literally make timeless gold EVERYTHING they touch.

It's being developed by Suikoden veterans including Suikoden creator Yoshitaka Murayama. The soundtrack is going to be composed by Motoi Sakuraba and Michiko Naruke (Wild Arms). Someone needs to point motoi in the direction of a youtuber named deathvine_68000. Who is a die hard motoi fan... He is able to perform motoi's style almost perfectly using the same sounds from tales of symphonia and golden sun. more people should know about him...what hes doing is amazing

Sounds like what SynaMax was doing with Yamamoto-sans style from the Metroid Prime games ... Before Nintendo issued takedowns on his channel a few days ago and completely destroyed his passion for doing Metroid inspired music 😡😡😡😡

I'm a die-hard Nobuo Uematsu fan. BUT Motoi Sakuraba just hits it in a way I don't see in very many other games. Golden Sun, Star Ocean, and the Tales of soundtracks are some of his best works. He also has a non-gaming album he released back in the 90's I think called Gikyokuonsou, and that feels like it could literally be a Star Ocean soundtrack lol.

Really cool recommendation from KZbin, as I'm a big fan of Sakuraba's works even since Tales of Symphonia and Golden Sun. Happy to hear he'll be composing for the Suikoden spiritual successor Eiyuden Chronicles (or however it's spelled). Sakuraba has certainly come a long way, but that prog rock spirit is kinda hard to beat. Could definitely use another soundtrack closer to Baten Kaitos though. Gods that was good sh*t.
