Private property in Ohio is great in the later months. Deer can’t resist bait piles that time of year. There is hardly anything else to eat.

" I let him go because I knew there was something bigger" after just saying he agreed to ONLY hunt that one buck.. kinda make you a little suspicious of his intent.

But I understand like if he was on his land or somewhere else the buck would of hit the dirt me personally nahh he can live to see another day no hesitation

Right before that he said “maybe he normally would have shot”. He normally was not hunting his FiL’s property, and judging by his trophy wall the 3.5 YO may not be old enough for his taste.

Wonder what a replica of the general or Illinois roadkill bucks costs thease days. Guessing they was done by Kraus or watever his name is.

I hear all these pro hunters and even my buddies, Talking about scent control and camo, tree stands and here I am hunting in shorts and normally a white t shirt,All I worry about is noise, and I carry a 1956 marlin 35 Remington Texas model, and as of last year I have 387 racks I've taken hanging in the house and barn that's not counting twice as many doe and hogs,I started hunting at 9 then in 1999 I enlisted in the Marines MARSOC RAIDER'S spent 16 years in 9 of that was in Iraq and Afghanistan,I got home early 2016 and didn't start hunting again until 2021 I only killed 7 last year, but this November here in Florida I'm getting serious about it again 🤣🤣

Good vid.....but we have to stop with the "harvesting" junk. Its disingenuous & makes it seem as if we as hunters have to sugar coat what we do...which is kill. Its real life & its not a dirty word
@thedeercamp2 жыл бұрын
I mean no disrespect but there is no good excuse for selling a once in a lifetime buck unless it’s for once in a lifetime money. That’s like selling the Mona Lisa and hanging a reprint on your wall in its place. Money comes and goes. If it’s really just about “more people getting to see it and appreciate it” it would have been sold to Bass Pro.

Agreed, it wouldn’t feel right to me if I had a replica of a deer I shot
