Alex, Thank You! I am a 100% disabled veteran with balance issues, left leg is shorter than right which screws up everything on my left side. You have helped to adjust to this problem I have and even tho Im not shooting in the 70s, you have made golf more enjoyable for me!

I have watched tonnes of videos online. The swing plane in line with the club angle at address and subsequent follow through is the best tip on the internet. You will hit the ball right to left and MUCH straighter…..transformational for me. Nice one Alex.

Have been working on slowing my swing down on the range over the winter........slice is disappearing drastically but its still a work in progress. Hopefully adding this tip will be another piece on the jigsaw

Alex I just had a breakthrough lesson with my coach who told me exactly the same thing you just covered and it has transformed my ball flight over night. Great video as always mate and thank you.

Haha yes I would rip your hand off for that shot shape. Appreciate all the driver videos you’ve posted lately. Easy for us simple folk to follow and not full of confusing jargon. Just need the weather to sort itself out to go out and practice them on a round. The range will suffice for now. You only have to watch Jimmy Bullard on golf life to see you don’t need to smash the life out the ball to get 300yards with driver. You scratch golfers make it look so effortless

Thanks Alex. Just played a round after watching this video last night and for the first time in two years of slicing, I hit my driver straight every time. So simple. I can’t thank you enough. Now I need to stop hitting behind the ball with my irons. Cheers

Hi ... love your videos! ... please, can you help me understand why I'm pulling my driver tee shots straight left (RHG) between 70-150yds. It shoots out between 7 and 8 o clock on the clock face when impact is aiming for 4 o clock through 10 o clock. The rest of the time when I hit 4 to 10 I'm hitting straight shots.

Thanks! These videos have helped me a lot. I’ve been looking into plyometrics to see if I can get a few more yards that way. Sorry if I’ve missed it but do you have a video on any in particular you like or find beneficial. Saw there are some plyometrics to help clear your hips, which would be huge for me. Appreciate the videos!

Alex I have watched all your videos on hitting driver and kept adjust grip, rotation, and weight shifting. My iron play improved greatly but I have had a wicked slice and it seems the more I try to fix the faster the ball spins off the club. That was until this video I went and played 9 yesterday and 18 today no range time just played using everything from this video and I’m killing the driver 275 to 300. Instead of slicing I’m actually getting a draw. I actually was hitting them all left until I adjusted my aim a bit but this swing adjustment has changed it all from hitting maybe 2 fairways a round d to now I hit 14 out of 18 today. All this was fixed by the adjustment in backswing just changing the angle. Thank you very much for this lesson.

Alex, I always enjoy your vids. You put things is simple terms and easy drills to help us shoot better scores. From a high handicapper, THANK YOU! One thing I would like you to address is golf ball selection. I have a lower, 70-80 MPH, swing speed and do tend to have a predominantly left to right ball flight. I know I can’t fully compress a Titleist Pro-V1 and believe that ball would enhance my fade/slice. I also think the Callaway Supersoft, which is recommended for my swing speed, feels a little mushy. Please consider doing a video on how ball selection affects ball flight and how a high, mid, and low handicap golfers should go about selecting the right ball.

Brilliant drill set Alex. Step 2 made me realize a setup error on my part💡. Also the car gear mindset is great as I have a habit of wanting to always absolutely murder the ball with every driver swing 😂. Great explanation of step by step process as always. Amazing. I really would try this... BTW if u can make a video... I'm new to golf played almost for a month.. Perfect with irons only... Been played 3 iron for the driver short and able to get 240 yds with it.. It's always 220-240 yds with the 3 iron.. But I want to learn how to hit a driver so that i may be able to hit at least 300 yds... But I'm not sure about the distance from the ball.. And when I hit the driver it's not only one mistake but it goes for Slice, draw and duff shots (slice is more) if u can guide me on that please 😊

A recent video analysis of my swing revealed that I'm able to bring the club back along the right plane but for some reason my hands move up causing an outside in swing. Not really sure how to fix it. Any thoughts? Trail elbow looks okay I'm thinking it might be an issue with my lead shoulder.

At five feet five, I believe that one of the reasons I slice my driver is simply because the driver is too long. I don’t slice any irons from my four iron down. Yet, put a longer iron or wood in my hands, and it’s slice city.

Dear Ales, really appreciate all your videos but in this one - I think at least - what is missing is some detail about players heights and how this applies to the taller ones here. Since woods do not get fitted, specifically not the driver, the taller of us find it really awkward to follow this advice here. With 6.4“, lowering the hands as you suggest, the spine has to really bend a lot, actually promoting a steeper swing plane if one doesn’t want to move in a completely awkward position. There surely is some correlation with player height and their ability to do as you suggest. I.e., look at Bryson with 6.1“ and how he has his hands or John Rahm with 6.2“ who has a more fade type drive which has a lot to do with his height also imho. So a few words about this would really be appreciated…
