Not only that, but the CAPTCHA that Analogue used is relatively new, therefore the majority of bots that sold out PS5’s in the past got halted, requiring a real human input. I personally think the analog just made a very small amount of white consoles available for pre-order so that they would go out of stock quickly and then create a fear of missing out situation where potential buyers are unsure if the black one is going to sell out as well.

Exactly - Visually I thought the black one was more of a black/grey and just looked closer to what I remember as the original N64. The white color just gave up the vibes of "look at me, I'm a special custom N64 color, please love me more than everyone else at this party". But that's maybe just me. Also full disclosure, I was dropped as a child.

I don’t think a lot of people understand that a 4k TV is required for the best experience with this console. Notes on their website: 9. Resolution is 10x the majority of games at 320. Some games display in 640. 10. Analogue3D requires a 4k capable display to use Original Display Modes (CRT and PVM modes). 11. Analogue3D cannot use a capture card with Original Display Mode enabled. It can use a capture card in 4k without Original Display Modes. 12. Analogue3D supports 1080p output in addition to 4k. We strongly recommend playing in 4k for the experience Analogue3D was created for. Idk man, I feel like an original N64 hooked up to a real CRT is just as good, if not better, than what this will be.
