Smartkey Pro VS journey Lock8 key organizer with find my ? I love the Smartkey pro holds 14 keys, while the Lok8 only holds like 6, not to mention the price of the lok8 is $79 while the Smartkey is $49 or so with additional tools add ons. I love the look of the LOL8 in orange , but the Smartkey at 14 keys just makes more sense . 😭 I can’t decide ) help!

Does this also work with precision finding or just general location and audio alert? I have a KeySmart Original, and I think the iPro is cool that it works with Find My. I can remove my AirTag from my keychain to keep my EDC a little less. I wish the iPro came with USB-C tho, I also wish the battery life lasted more than 30 days. I mean, an AirTag can last one year. 😂

How snug are the keys? I have 3 and don’t want them to rotate without me wanting them too

That depends on you! You can make it as tight or as loose as you want. They come with some spaces to fill the extra space that you might have with uneven number keys and if you need more spacers they sell them in the expansion pack. But you can also find little washers at your hardware store that would work also.

Yes, the find my app sends a notification, but its really easy to miss/overlook. (maybe its just me) Plus its only 1 motivation. I wish it was more.,

Hi there im about to buy one of these and have been hung up on your statement that it doesnt have UWB or NFC. i have been looking and looking for specs or any literature that states or says anything beyond “works with Find My”, but have found nothing so i’m curious where you got that information? if you could share any info that would be awesome

Why do you need a spec sheet for things it DOESN'T have? If you can see in the Find My App that it doesn't have the Precision Finding feature? Plus Apple currently doesn't allow third-party accessories to have the Precision Finding feature. Maybe that will change in the future but it's not an option in the Find My app as you can see in the video. NFC readers don't pick up anything on the device, thus it doesn't have it.

I been using keysmart for a little under a month now and my question is should I tighten down the screws all the way down or half way ?

If you might too tight, you won't able to move the keys out. So I make it tight and then I back it off a bit to make sure I can move them out. It has never come undone accidentialy. I hope that helps.

If this was a USB C it would be in my cart to try. Guess I will wait till v2. I only gripe about this is because I travel a lot and everything I bring with me is USB C to C or lightning.

Thats a different model. Like I said in the video don't get confused between the KeySmart Pro and KeySmart iPro. One runs with Tile that can do the reverse finding feature (locate your iphone) and the other runs on Apple's Find and can not do the reverse finding feature.
