When "Saxondale" was launched .... i confess i didn't understand any part of it !!! . Twenty years later ...... Tommy probably had a "breakdown" from his first marriage !!! . Through that "enlightenment" he is able to read people and institutions like an "open book" !!! . (while his neighbour is too "wrapped up" to even see or care) . That's how he was able to talk a man down from suicide ...(all in a days work) !!! . "Saxondale" ????.... a very thoughtful man who simply narrates in an insular world !!! . That day "Saxondale" hit a higher sales target than his neighbour !!!
