As of someone who lives 2 hours away from Kings Dominion, I don't think this is a good idea because by renaming the ride to Panthereon to me, renaming this ride to Panthereon has the same name as Pantheon from Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

@@Preston0611 yeah I’m curious how much new theming is actually going into this and if it’s just this ride seeing as panthers live in the jungle and the ride is in an open field... It is also very confusing to have this without also incorporating backlot, spicing up anaconda, and blending in flight of fear. Are they going to completely rip out flight of fears theming? It’s still the best themed coaster in the park and I’d hate to see the sci-fi alien theme go because they’re too lazy to come up with any new theming besides jungle X… This is also means that 6/10 coasters are all in this on “land” and I just feel it’s too much…

My only complaint is there’s FoF between it and to theme a single coaster to a land that’s separated from the ride is weird. I personally think they should retheme backlot stunt coaster to a ride where you’re riding safari jeeps through a temple to the jaguar deity. And I think getting rid of the FoF theming would be a mistake, having near half your park themed to one single land just feels lazy. They could just say the base is in the jungle but it is such a contrasting theme that it doesn’t work for me. I think they should go the route of Orion where they tied it into the government base theming and gave it a refresh.

So a jungle xpedition retheme of a ride not at all connected to the land, while a ride that borders the land itself is already primed for retheming? I’ll have whatever this park is smoking cause it doesn’t make sense to me. Anaconda and backlot are right next to jungle x but haven’t been refreshed like everything else, they should just update anaconda a bit to match the quality everything else got and make backlot into the jaguar ride, and lightly theme i305 to the government base theme like Kings Island did with Orion.
