My first thought was… insulate the handles in the grill so you can pick it up and transfer to table. Then you got the gloves. Haha. That will work I guess. Just another item to maintain. Thanks for sharing, cool looking grill. Can’t wait to see it in action. God bless

For the function, features and price point, I'll be picking one up for myself. I finally got my trailer delivered and plan to be out and about more while here in FL. I'm in the Bartow/Mulberry area working for the next two years and looks like there are a lot of places to go for a quick weekend trip.

Another great video, maybe have them turn the grating the opposite direction to make it easier to use a Spatula, to get burgers off easier, put another grating above it and put a handle on the ash pit as not to burn your hands to empty it.

Pretty cool but I'd be worried about the warping once it's heated
@OverlandFlorida3 жыл бұрын
The old version warped. The newer ones have not.
@lifedoo7213 жыл бұрын
It has been tested many times, and the thickness is 3mm, and there will be no obvious bending.
@robertphillips933 жыл бұрын
Mine's on the way . . . then I saw a tester dump a huge load of well-lit charcoal into one, and almost before they could distribute the coals evenly, the long sides were developing a monster (3-4 cm) warp. To me, the 3 mm thickness of those sides sounds like it should be plenty -- but I've got a 3 ft piece of 1 inch flat bar here and I'm pretty sure that would straighten out any wayward tendencies . . .

I have a recommendation to add a rod to move the coals or logs around in there. Other than that they nailed it!
@OverlandFlorida3 жыл бұрын
Like a fire poker?
@averagedadbuilds58133 жыл бұрын
@@OverlandFlorida Yes that's what I was as thinking!
@lifedoo7213 жыл бұрын
I don't understand your design too much, can you explain it in detail?
@averagedadbuilds58133 жыл бұрын
@@lifedoo721 Sure, I was just thinking of an L shaped rod with a point on it (the point is at the bottom end of the L, the top or longer side is the handle). While using it as a firepit the pointed end could be used to poke and turn logs around for a better burn. The flat part (the bottom part of the L) could be used to move the charcoal to one side if you want to cook with indirect heat.
@averagedadbuilds58133 жыл бұрын
I've seen similar things in stores to move fire wood around, wish I could say it is totally original but I'm sure you guys will come up with an awesome design!
