They built this, and that's excellent, we should promote skills more, but we can't stuff up the space for that. Do you even know what problem we are talking about here ? Poeple who are not in space science would never understand why the notion of space junk even comes in every discussion. There are many better playgrounds for motivating pioneer projects. The most nice path is that these satellite can be deorbitted, after the test, and that's what we are concerned about.
