This movie talk about Discrimination and labeling....we are still struggling with it more or less world wide...by color race nationality language gender and sexuality as well...we are progressing towards opening doors of our acceptance and hearts...but still much more to achive...movie is just snippet of awakening and taking stand of a women for herself..and thats the beauty

Over here in the Netherlands it feels like the opposite. Seems to become more closed minded especially around sexuality it feels like this for me personally, as a women loving woman (37) and especially for gay men, theres a lot of bullying and whispers. *Where I love every good and respectful person..sadly since islam is growing also over here, tolerance for queer is worsening in my experience. I got muslim friends aswel, so please dont take this as another racism from my side, (they actually understand where I come from or try to at least) its Just a concern Im struggling with. Nowadays it feels less comfortable to openly share my sexuality and often Just dont mention it anymore, in contrary to back in the days. Also to show skin for example is frowned upon more nowadays. When I was a little girl, my mom could still be topless while we were playing in the water for example, breast feeding (most innocent) was just normal aswel, nowadays we dont even think about it to be normal anymore, or just dont dare actually. There's a lot I would do then and won't do anymore nowadays. These were just examples to create a picture of how it feels in 2024, 😳🤷🏼‍♀️in the Netherlands... 😢 we were very free and open, we mostly still open but it feels less and less free, while we been very welcoming and tolerant. No other country would accept so much change from outside influences as we did over the years and still many lack respect for our ways and try to change it or make something entirely different of our believes and ways. I hope one day, in a more tolerant world we can all Just get along and respect each other's differences
