Context for those who dont know Sam and Max. So its cannon that they are a gay married couple which was really unheard of for its time. As they went on their adventures, Max eventually turned into this giant monster. Their (very stupid, ignoramus, pompous, no good, double crossing, whore- i reeeealy hate her as a character) friend was pregnant and when they were trying to cure Max's monster ailment. She was pretty much ready to pop and actually did go into labor. Now she is STUPID because earlier the crew constantly told her not to come BECAUSE she was pregnant and she ignored them like a dumbass. So Max decided to save her (should have just let her have the baby and make her suffer in embarrassment- she hated Max) by allowing everyone to leave his body. However, this cause an issue and Max couldnt be saved. So Sam lost his husband because his neighbor was brain dead. How he hasnt sued her, ill never no. He really is a good boy. I would have taken that woman's child. Anyway, thats why the song fits. Max literally dies. .... Did i mention I Really hate that female character? I dont know what the writer's were thinking. She was fine as a joke character but then they started writing her in, it got stupid annoying fast. They didnt even do a good job. She has no arch or growth. She's a snotty, bratty adult who never matured past highschool. So many other characters should have gotten the spotlight and they picked her. Really. Dont. Like. Her.
