I recently finished listening to his autobiography audiobook , it left an incredible impression on me. It is mind blowing how he addresses incredibly complex problems that are more relevant than ever into modern day society, as if he was living somehow in the future. Not to mention the incredible effect he can have on religious and non religious people alike and make them think and explore the realm of values.

The difficulty in recognizing the emergence of the unconsciousness onto the conscious mind images may take the shape or attitude/feeling of defensiveness against the unfamiliar or strange contents. I at first became very violent with the promptings but with perceptions of some synchronistic events came to see the emergence as the essential beginning of the change of life - the becoming of the new self at the transitions of the left to right hemispheric dominance and the age of wisdom from the age of knowledge. Still the patience that comes with age helps to persist in the new direction with less tendency to frustration and reactive change. A small garden helps to ground the periods of uncertainty with a sense of vital connection to the inevitable present, future and life processes of phototropism, plant life, nutrition, healing and strength which arise from and in connection to these.

"But when you get to a.. problem which is no more merely personal but also collective, you get collective dreaming." I've looked a bit into "spirited away" and determined the "Bath house" is actually a collective dream. And I've realized I've had these "bath house" dreams myself. They usually take place in a water park. Im separated from a group of old familiar friends in the water park due to an event or different group of less familiar people in my life I have to get to (coworkers, etc.). The water park has an underground maintenance network (underworld) and an "overseer" or an old, "Master Roshi" looking man usually operating a massive ride that generally takes place outside of the park itself and has definite elements of life threatening danger. Its apparent the ride is not part of the park and is not responsible for the legal ramifications of your life. Its a sign of change and transformation, "growing up" I guess. Just like the bath house in spirited away. Im thinking the whole "water" theme relates to change and cleansing but I'm not entirely sure. I'm interested to hear if anyone else has a "bath house" dream?

I've actually had a similar dream, my analysis of it was that it's a modern vision of confrontation with chaos and complexity, the theme of getting ''lost'' seems to be intertwined with the archetype, in my experience the locational frame was a foreign land, the water in that case would not be representative of cleansing but rather drowning. I think the ocurrence of this particular archetypal dream could possibly be the unconscious manifestation of the need to aim at a goal, instead of being an isolated cog in an unknown chaotic system.

Hello madam VIVI VI ... well I love your perspective ... yeah the water is related to purification, in shintoism we could say the japanese spiritualism the rituals of purifications are naturally based on washing hands and mouth with water before getting into the temples (jinja) and there are different rituals in different seasons that are istrictlly entertwined with bath and washing ourselves ... you can perceive it better with this quote "One of the most pertinent rituals of the Shinto faith is the purifying ritual, performed right before entering the jinja, or shrine. It is a simplified version of a much larger purifying ritual that generally takes place in a river or by a waterfall. The only tools required for this ritual are the Temizuya, or the water basin, and the Hishaku, the long wooden spoon provided at the basin. In this version, a visitor approaches the temple and stops at the Temizuya first. The visitor will then use a Hishaku to scoop up water and pour it first on the right hand, then the left. The person then cleanses his/her mouth with the water in his palm and then pours water over the left hand again to repurify it. The remaining water must drip back down the handle and the Hishaku is replaced. The purpose of allowing the water to drip back down the Hishaku is due to the longer version of the ritual. Known as "purification by moving water", the water must constantly be in motion for the ritual to be successful. By allowing the water to flow back down the other side of the tool this original purpose is fulfilled." www.ancient-origins.net/history-ancient-traditions/purification-core-ancient-shinto-faith-003108 I never had a bath house dream but I believe that our purification is an archetype in itself and Jung can teach us about it if we look for and study ... Thank you for your sharing pretty much significative for me ... may we keep our learning in progress with gratitude for such beings as Jung that support so much the awakening of our true nature of self... me as human being am very thankful and grateful in the name of humanking to mr Jung! The purification is intended to symbolize becoming one with the natural world. ...
I love how humble and uncertain he was/ is. Herr Jung was a True truth seeker, a spirit of his and our times. A wish to meet somewhere there; maybe in my unconscious; as the wise old man.

@garypuckettmuse6 жыл бұрын
It does make sense. And as Jung said any mother who is half-conscious will see this in her infant and throughout life. Our society has hang-ups about this, however. On the one hand the materialist reductionist claim our personalities and behaviors are all about the functioning of the body-brain complex and take a pill or have shock treatment. Humanists claim the whole personality is "formed" by society and therefore if they can get control of us early enough we can be molded into good little cultural soldiers -- this is the "nurture" side of it. But no one wants to admit anything about inherited traits now because it takes away from the myth that we can, indeed, condition and control each other. No one wants to say, for example, if your father is a sociopathic murderer and your mother is a narcissistic borderline with drug issues you're not off to a good start genetically. No one wants to say it but it's TRUE. My daughter never met her father and grew up completely different than he did and, guess what, she is exactly like him in personality, character, defense mechanisms, methods of asserting herself. It's uncanny except that it's not. Until this modern era families always used to talk about how this person was just like that uncle and so forth. I agree the baggage is accumulated over time but the basic proclivities of how people respond to the baggage stems from genetics as much as environment, usually a lot more. Interesting that you observe these things just taking photographs. Sensitive person

It culminated in the finding of "Towards the Light" mediated by Johanne Agerskov and published in 1920 by Michael Agerskov in Denmark. The book was send to priest, scientist and writers at that time. The reality of thought as a reflection of a created and maintained reality of the universal consciousness has those openings into the space beyond the 3D reality. It is the hyperspace of the 4th dimension. Like the invisible 3D hand enters new events into the 2D world of the flatlanders, the great hand of the 4th D inserts the novel changes into the 3D.

the "inaudible" words at 32:19 are "quadratura circuli"... then at 32:55-60 C. J. says that "which does not mean that I believe that God is the self or the self is God" (the subtitles say something different))

The music you choose is chaotic in contrast to Carl Jung - i had to mute it
@fungivibeinc.17126 жыл бұрын
Because Jung brings a sense of order and security through hes' knowledge? I believe, if one truly experiences the phenomena of which he speaks, you will soon after realise that chaos has a sort of mischievous playfulness too it. Jung realised in himself the element of chaos and deceit, which you can see when he gives off a grin now and then. My view atleast sees the music as being perfectly suited for the theme of hes' discussion. But reading different perspectives of the same content is always so interesting :). Bless

From 10:00 You observe tangible objects in the outside world. You also observe within to see the world of moving images which are also tangible facts (not yet tangible objects). Some call them fantasies. They are energy, manifestation of something, and must have proper reality. All outside objects and events come from fantasies. Thanks Carl 🐳🐧🌏🌄🐯👍🤪🚴♂️🎖🥂🐧🐘💝

The subtitles are embarrassingly bad. The person who made them obviously understands nothing of Jung (many such cases!), sometimes even subtitling 'unconcious' as 'are concious'. Sad how people treat him as a self help guru nowadays.
wow, did you just do that?! thanks! how does the submission process work? did you submit it and they will eventually approve it and be added to the actual video?

Once again people are dreaming of great changes. En masse. The old ways and systems are crumbling at an alarming pace now. New, better ways of thinking which lead to better ways of living, feeling and being are here.

In the last 200 years happend more thinks than the past 300 years. In the past 100 years happend more change than the past 200 years. In the last 50 years thinks got even faster Faster changes. And I think that everyone can confirm and experience this. So now there wil happen even more thinks in 10 years and this proces is accelerating You can search this theorie on youtube just type Terence Mckenna the finale earth bound and lisen to the full interview. This may not be a popular comment, but around 14.00 he talks about the world hanging by a thin thread due to the Psyche of people ( so biologically we could say the species homosapien). It is interesting that he references the survival of a particular species to the end of the "World." As this is human or homosapien psychology the reference logically must reference humankind, humanity or the ongoing survival of homosapien. Alternatively referencing the earth would obviously be absurd so we can discount it. Whatever created the earth (let's not go there) also created the species that inhabit the earth. Each part of the ecosystem was vital and was created for a biological purpose as an ecosystem won't create something it doesn't need. At one stage in evolution the species homosapien disconnected from its natural world or earth or ecosystem. It remains the only known species to have done this. A species that is not at ease with nature and became damaging to nature and damaging to its own species, damaging to all other species but not for any biological reason. In biology this would be deemed a genetic abnormality as this particular species soils its own nest, soils all nests and bites the eats the hand that feeds it. Jung is correct from within the human psychology but we can't exclude Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, the Psychology of other species, etc. So the declaration by the rogue genetic mutation declaring itself the dominant species based on it's self assessed, and disturbing, evaluation system as a species completely disconnected from, damaging to, the very ecosystem that gave it, and supported its life proves a strong case that the homosapien must destroy itself. Biologically this defective psychology will accelerate to eradicate the homosapien and the earth will put some paw paw cream on the insect bite that the homosapien inflicted on the earth. The species that accept living with nature will continue to thrive and we are just a tiny mistake, like an anteater that grew an ear instead of a snout for digging for ants.
