Love how you keep exploring other types of games. Keep it up. I primarily play team games in SC2 (and AoE4 back before I stopped playing though your videos do give me an urge to go back every now and then) but I got to admit, high rankings in 3v3 doesn't "mean much". All the top players with crazy W/L ratios like this team and others only play with an arranged team. The advantage that gives over a random team is almost overwhelming. I remember almost going 100-0 in SC2 4v4. My mechanics are only diamond level in 1v1 which is essentially garbage compared to GM players but with 3 master level players carrying me, most games become trivial. That said, the general meta that gets established in team games isn't particularly wrong so there's something of value to pick up. Btw, I had a good laugh watching so many of Siral's traders get picked off while his French ally afked his knights near the front. So much for those 2 covering for him to let him catch back up :P And Sirral losing all his gold workers to 3 knights is another sign that their crazy W/L ratio isn't indicative of players being mechanically strong but just that they're a better coordinated team.

Thanks for this Aussie. I really only play with my friends and I've been starved for good team game and multiplayer content and strats. I'd love to see more of these... especially given your experience in team games. I wanna be more useful to my team and learn better macro when there's more than 1 person you're contesting with. Loved the Octagon series for that reason. Thanks for your content.

Drongo PLEASE keep doing team games. They're usually so much more exciting than this. This was the most boring team game I could imagine. I'm primarily a team game player myself, and not highly rated. I have no idea how any of these players are anywhere near the top of anything. How does an entire team basically ignore water? The north team let those knights chill on the trade route for like 10 minutes. Siral let 20 vils on gold just die. Terrible play.

I think team games are less punishing when you do some mistakes, as long your teams can adapt to it, and better teammates can carry you as well

@@berserk1934 if playing premade teams (or perhaps even not?), then whole meta/fight is about preventing that situation from happening, and doing that situation to the enemy team. Altho not all instance of 2v3 not impossible to win

You forgot camel riders when you where talking about knight counters, these guys don’t need to be microed and they destroy knights in a straight up fight, and with camel speed they are faster then knights as well

Yea it has a leaderboard on the website. Forget the actual steps to get to it but it’s somewhere on the website. You just search your name along with which match type your trying to see leaderboards for
