Thanks, mate! I think the overcast day works pretty well with that profile but if the sun is out I really like the Movie profile on the Sony cameras.

Thanks for sharing your experience with this lens. My experience was a bit more positive than yours and it looks like 7Artisans have some quality control issues and the sample variations are a tad too wide.

Thanks, Matti. Yeah, I am not surprised there's quite a bit of variation given the price. The focus and aperture ring are almost unmovable on this one - but the AF/MF switch is so lose. Build issues aside, the image quality is pretty good.

Good review. I just take stills, and I only do manual focusing with my vintage lenses, so the brutal focus and aperture rings are not an issue for me. And I will tape down the af/mf switch. I find the image results very good. And I picked it up new for $175 USD, so overall, as just a hobbyist, I am pretty happy with it. My only gripe is the slight movement on the mount, as you pointed out. Doesn't cause any problems if not using the rings, but it should fit better.

I'm having problem with the mount in my sony a6000. Sometimes the camera doesnt read the lens

@@GeekyNerdyTechy just this specific lens, i thought in the first error that the problem is the af/m switch but when i checked in the menu it says the lens is not attached. But i take the lens of and put it again then it comes back but error again from time to time

@@gyredynamics Sounds like a bad lens terminal by the sounds of it. See if there's a firmware update for it, or send it back for an exchange.
