The reason to use Water Wetter is for doing track days. If it leaks on the track it doesn't make it slippery like PG. It also doesn't prevent freezing like PG.

Great results - nice work. Would be really nice to see what the heat shielding does on its own without the water/water wetter change. i.e. how much of the temp change was from the engine running cooler vs the heat shield deflecting heat. Maybe later in the season when you change the coolent bake to glycol? Impressed with your ability to get all that shielding on!

To get very close to 100% perfect, all that bike needs, as ALL road race bikes need, are adjustable height handle bars/clipons. Almost anything is possible & there fore could be designed to fit onto the forks or the top forks brace. Imagine riding the panegali on track & then adjust the handle bars to go home, to bring you more upright. No back problem & no heat......perfect.

Nice work on getting the temp down. My Panigale 1299S suffers from warm temps. I wouldn't say it's critical to reduce them temps, but I guess any reduction is welcome. Having said that, you say you rode it harder and faster than the previous test. Panigale will remain cooler if ridden harder and faster. So I think you should do some further testing in a controlled manner :)

Hey Jaret, typing to you all the way from South Africa, huge fan, and following the Ducati custom build excitingly. While watching the video's you guys stressed that doing custom work isn't easy and can be frustrating which I fully agree, so, I had a brain wave yesterday and drew up a song you can sing when things get tough, it is based on the song, " Goodluck - taking it easy", and this song is called, "custom build - Jaret Campisi". Shout out to the crew helping in this build and look forward to more awesome video's". Look at us, working here, hoping the Ducati won’t disappear There is nothing like a summer breeze to take a load off Dado and me Dado survived the madness, he made it through, now Dozer there is only me And you It’s only me and you Chorus: • Jaret Campisi • Jaret Campisi • Jaret Campisi • Jaret Campisi (Jaret Campisi) Jaret Campisi on ourselves Dozer not gotta do nothing for nobody else We’ll give it time And strip it down Even Christina is chilling out The grommets fly The bike fairings go We dazzled by Ducati while lying low Chorus: • Jaret Campisi • Jaret Campisi • Jaret Campisi • Jaret Campisi (Jaret Campisi) Look at Dado Working here Watching the sun disappear There is nothing like Breathing in The fumes as it begins The temperature is high The beer is low Now Dozer there is only me and you It’s only me and you ohhh (4x)Chorus: • Jaret Campisi • Jaret Campisi • Jaret Campisi • Jaret Campisi (Jaret Campisi)

Your not the first person to do this. I did my 1299. Except I also did ceramic coating "jet hot" to my exhaust. That made the biggest difference. I did help but on a 1299 on a hot day it's still warm. This is the nature of the best. So pretty much just deal with it.

Dado Rados As an experiment I would have loved to see the difference between straight water and then Water Wetter and then the mix as per the bottle: 1 oz per qt. They said they kept some of the factory glycol in there.

any water in an engine is bad
@JaretCampisi7 жыл бұрын
we kept about half of the original coolant in there so once the water wetter and distilled water mix, it will not freeze :)

but it will corrode sorry to say

EAGLE 1 lets get this clear, Galvanic Corrosion could happen theoretically, in ANY altered environment but the amount of glycol AND watter wetter (both additives specifically formulated to keep an engine cooling system from developing corrosion) are in this Panigale. Your concern for the possibility of corrosion is greatly appreciated, but in this case disregarded.

people who think they can do more than the perfectionists Italians at Ducati are insane. especially modes that they think can improve performance. looks, to each their own.
