I went to a hiring event a while back. I had printed my resume on resume paper (yes, they exist) and handed it to every company I spoke to. All of the recruiters immediately noticed the difference in texture compared to the other resumes they received that was printed on regular printer paper. I spoke to 6 companies, got an offer from all 6 of them. Moral of the story is, do what you need to do to make a lasting impression. Even if it’s as simple as printing your resume on resume paper.
