When the M2 came out we knew it was going to be a great base for modifying - Then Alpha-N launched their carbon bodykits and we knew there was some serious potential to build a wild car.
This is where GP Products come in, taking a brand new G87 M2, and a blank cheque to build the most modified M2 in the world. Alpha-N already took a lot of inspiration from the E36 M3 GT with their kit, and GP ran with it, fully repainting the car in British Racing Green and retrimming the interior to match the M3 GT.
We take a look around the car at Essen Motor Show, and also take a look at 3 other Alpha-N kitted cars, showing how different the CSL variant kit is, and how IND in America built theirs too.

its almost as if bmw made this car to be modified. In stock form it almost seems unfinished but with the right kit it looks incredible. im coming around to the design with these examples.

I wish there were more 3rd party aftermarket options...like there were back in the day during the JDM hype JDM died out ages ago, with the exception of GTR which dragged on. But the same model could have been replicated with German cars but didn't. I'm not saying rice up a BMW M5 which is a different class of car. But these M2s and M3s and M4s..even the M..40i models beneath them..can easily be tuned and actually they have a similar ethos to JDMs Back then you had several body kits and custom options. Now you'll be lucky with a grille insert

@@fozpringle1 they're wealthier nations with jobs that pay twice as much. UK is an economic shithole. But I also suspect those nations had a lot more JDMs produced or imported than UK. UK market is small. If there's special editions of 1000 global units..we only get about 20.

I like this car. It has an awkward shape. The front end seems to come from a big car and the rear end (from Pilar C) seems to come from a smaller car, so it doesn’t flow as much as previously BMWs. But I love it! It is very agressiva and no one else is offering these type of cars so well done BMW

Great vid and that GP build, just wow bringing tuning to another level. Personally for me a bit too much so I would go for the CSL style, minus the big spoiler, I think a proper duck-tale would complement the rear enough to my liking.
