The WORST Almond milk! | Blind Taste Test: Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk

Welcome back to latest blind taste test!
It's not quite as epic (or as yummy) as the Ultimate Whipped Cream Blind Taste Test, but it was still fun and interesting. I'm thinking we'll do an Oat milk taste test soon?
These almond milks tasted more different than either of us expected. In the end, a few stood out as clear favorites. And we both agreed on which one was the absolute worst.

Whatever the other people say about almond milk not being 100% almond but in my opinion still beats the cows milk.

I know this is a taste test for flavor but for those who actually care about the ingredients, all of the milks except three trees have additives, oils, gums, "natural flavors" which isn't actually natural. I'm personally a huge fan of three trees simply for its clean ingredients and IMO it's the best tasting one on the market for clean alternative milk options. Might not be up everyone's alley because it's not loaded with sugar and filler to make it taste better but just FYI before you diss Three Trees!

The reason Three Tree isn’t a favorite is because it’s the only one up there that’s actually good for you. It has 2 ingredients for the unsweetened non vanilla version. All of the others have ingredients that cause inflammation.

My favorite Almond Milk is silk unsweet almond milk. I switched to almond milk last year. To be honest I don't miss cows milk at all.

it is important to SHAKE the containers in order to have the full taste. Lots of almond flavor at bottom of containers. Need the shake to distribute for optimal taste.

Silk is good. But surprisingly unexpected was the great value brand. I also enjoyed it. I found almond breeze to taste a little somewhat bleachy. Sunny select tasting cardboardy. I've been told to try a brand named 137° degrees. But can't seem to find it locally.

I love Almond Breeze it's the best . I been drinking it for over 10 years and I'm feeling very healthy.

I'm lactose intolerant and I just recently developed this over the last year. Don't ask me why I'm sad too lol. But that almond milk gives me hope and humanity again 🤣

2021. How is it that Silk is shelf stable and Almond Breeze is not? I have been drinking Almond Breeze 60 for over a year and love it .. but I need to drive in my van for a few weeks and will only have fridge that will keep at 70F during the day and about 75F at night.

Both Silk and Almond Breeze makes a shelf stable one too, usually a smaller container like a quart.

I am allergic to the protein in cows milk so I stick to almond milk. Wayyyy better for you than cows milk and it doesn’t make me feel bloated either!

Trader Joes has one I like ... Not cryo-packed, but its in the fridge section w/blue colored carton. It has a thicker consistency that I like, cereal doesn't get soggy too quickly.

I have never seen the blue carton one. The one I buy from TJ's has a pink and white carton (half gallon). My favorite. I use it for cereal, not coffee, baking and even mac n cheese recipes. Love it!
