Mes Chaussettes Rouges also has super durable cotton lisle. This might be a nice compromise between cotton (not durable enough) and wool (too thick). Also boardroom socks has merino wool socks which are well priced and supposed to be excellent

Hi. Nice content. I miss Falke. A very good German sock brand. Especially the luxury line no.6 or 9. merino wool and silk mix for winter or fil‘a fil or regular cotton for Sommer. The silk socks are great for black tie. Great value for the price. They offer different colours but not so much different pattern. Greetings PS I enjoy your videos. Go ahead

He mentioned Falke around 2 minutes but thinks the quality is bad. I own 50 pairs of socks from Falke and have no problems at all with the quality. 😎

@@robo2606 Well, their Airport line is less than average, to be honest. But I am a big fan of their Egyptian cotton (No10) is fabulous. Also really like their Shadow line.

I've pretty much tried them all, and here's my take: - Pantherella are excellent and surprisingly durable for thin socks - Gammarelli and Bresciani are beautiful, but very fragile - Mazarin are very good for their super durable offering, but their regular ones are quite fragile - Dore Dore is also a favorite of mine, their fil d'Ecosse (cotton Lisle) is excellent - Gallo is super nice, but very (too) pricy - Falke is a mixed bag. Their airport line is terrible, but their Egyptian cotton (No 10 line) one is exceptional in touch, comfort and durability

The problem with quality socks is that once I have worn a pair for years and realize how good they are, I always forget where I got them from!

Mes Chaussettes Rouge is a great place to purchase socks online. They have a nice variety. I have been a customer for years. Five star products and customer service. I wash my socks on the gentle cycle with the socks turned inside out, and in a mesh laundry bag, avoiding some of the lint ball issues.

Thanks, just this one is from a Spanish Brand called Mirto, but the merino fabric is from Italy don't remember right now the name of the house tho.
