*Though I dislike Trump to the end of the earth*, I also agree that this wasn't brought neutrally. The guy was too emotional and repetitive. I get that he's trying to make a point how stupid and ridiculous he is, but his profession should come before his emotion. Even the title is very subjective. This is pretty bad journalism. The question "What is your priority among our nuclear triad?" is not even a real question. Trump fan or not - Donald Trump's answer refers to that we wants somebody trustworthy with access to the nuclear button. Yes, he should have asked "What do you mean with 'priorities'? Between what exactly?" Hugh Hewitt didn't ask a question to hear a real answer. He deliberately asked a question that is confusing and has no answer - just to make Donald Trump look stupid. Hugh Hewitt is at fault for asking the frontrunner candidate, who is extremely hawkish and bloodthirsty, a question regarding the most extreme military option available, knowing full well the candidate won't know the answer and that the candidate won't answer the question, which is bad because . . . ? How gullible or delusional do you have to be to believe that a person who refuses to prepare for debates and other critical aspects of running for president will put any real effort into being president??? These are his high points, this is the sales pitch, his strong suit (read his books). Most days as president are a grind - a relentless, boring and often frustrating grind (read any book by any past president). Donald will lose what little interest he has in doing the real work five minutes after the inaugural ball, should we be so unfortunate as to get to that point.

Geoff, thanks for the reply. I believe the point applies just as directly. Most people see this as a choice between two somethings - evils, people, politicians, public servants, liars or whatever. My point is that no matter how you frame the overall choice, it requires chronic suspension of reality and reason to support Trump. While you didn't go there, many people will point to goals like making America great again, whatever that means, or bringing jobs back to the U.S. But agreeing with his goals isn't enough. Never has been and never will be. Most candidates share the same goals - it's about how they will get there, and Trump provides either nothing in the way of how he will get there (perhaps his most common approach), deeply flawed means of getting there (the wall, his so-called jobs plan and others), or hazardous ways of getting there (his tax plan as explained by every independent analysis, banning any religion from the U.S., militarily occupying other countries to harvest their natural resources, etc.).
