this exodia variation also doesn't work alongside the rest unfortunately :s it belongs to a different archetype but wears an exodia face if that makes sense you can 100% make incarnate/forbidden lord/necross work together but necross is like a last ditch thing tbh if they managed to kill your others (necross should be stronger imo or function differently but having it on the field when people don't read what it does is pretty funny i had one guy throw 2 raigekis at him and then surrender because he couldn't kill it with battle lol)

I'm not counting obliterate as it's in the same bracket as inferno fire blast and burst stream of destruction. Those cards aren't treated as red eyes and blue eyes cards in their decks so other attack theme cards should be discounted as well. Basically it's a non archetype, specific monster support card and Sam said to name the Exodia cards specifically and obliterate falls short of this for the reason stated above.

When this card came out in the Rock deck all those years ago it had a pretty good flow with Canyon and the rest of the deck. The deck is filled with High-DEF Rock-type monsters that have effects when flip summoned and can flip themselves face down. The basic idea back then was that your opponent would either have to let you flip summon the monsters and burn them with Exxod plus get their effect, OR they attack into them, flipping them face up but taking battle damage and burn damage from the Canyon field spell... and then you just flip them face down on your next turn anyway. It's fairly devious in concept, but even back then it ran into issues with basic removal being common place and the fact that as a defensive strategy it's pretty slow and full of vulnerabilities.

I love this deck (Prediction Princess). There's new support for flip monsters in Phantom Nightmare set that might enhance this archetype. I mean, it might be the best flip summon archetype deck in the game and is ritual based.

One of the coolest yet hard-to-summon boss monsters is Metaphys Executor. His effect isn't bad. His summoning requirements pose a problem: He needs to banish 5 metaphys cards from the field + grave, but because Metaphys banish themselves they don't really accumulate in the GY, nor do they build a substantial field presence. In any practical sense, the duel is either won or lost before the conditions to summon Executor are met.

i've used this card i can confirm its terrible lol its *usable* if you aren't going against a modern deck but that's about it you can get the card out using *ANY* sphinx monster not just the pyramid sphinxes :L stuff like "Guardian Sphinx" which actually works alongside Exxod *because it flips itself back face down after flipping it up and attacking* and if you want to take full advantage of it you'd want to have 2-3 of those guardian sphinxes on teh field with it sangan and deep diver are both decent for deck searching for them but it still is slow and for better functionality you really want to draw at least 1 sangan and 1 guardian sphinx so its already on the field (assuming sangan doesn't die) and stalling your opponent till you can get the burns going
