for me the map is easily the worst part about this update. I've given up hope with the rocket pass/season updates a while ago. but seriously, who thought making the map more contrasted and blurry would be a good idea? it fr gives me bad eye strain and I've left the match everytime I've gotten the map. worst part is that you can't even dislike it in your map preferences to make sure you play it less

You all realize 99% of the player base is playing only Octane/Dominus/Fennec? There was a Dingo for some time and it has been forgotten. This car is a cool meme and it looks actually funny at least. You guys don't even know literally what you actually want yourselves, you're gonna stick to Octane forever anyways; and there are also casual players, not everyone is a sweat tryhard that needs a 'good car' to hit your triple resets where there are just few hitboxes either way lol. Also I suppose it's just really hard to actually add a new 'good car' but idk, Psyonix probably doesn't care because of the Main Car Trio.. and it's kinda a theme car.. Though wheels, decals etc. could be a lot better probably, yeah

This is by far the best update since free to play started imo. People take all of this way to seriously and this is a nice break. I like how goofy everything is and to be able to have fun with the new dumb ass looking car. It doesnt have to look good, I just like how it is. To be fair it might have been a better idea not to add the new maps to the comp rotation but besides that it doesnt do any harm. I play the game to have fun with friends and this season is perfect for that :)!

I mean, I get why peope don't like it, but from a car design standpoint it's one of the better designs they've come up with, it doesn't have the issue of frustratingly poor lines or coherence like litterally every other one, the dominus is objectively bad, the octane is kinda good but could be better, and I won't even mention all the others, I'm glad they finally put out a unique coherent and wwell thought design and I think it's a good sign for future rocket pass cars.

Since they said it would be cartoon focused, i felt like all the items would be like a new touch to the game. But all we got are some ugly looking designs and some dont even come into the cartoon theme. The goal explosion is sick but this car could have been a lot better even without taking the hitbox of octane or dominus. I mean they could have thought of many other designs but what they decided was this ginormous monstrosity (it looks cute sometimes but most of the times its just sh*t). The creative team really needs to improve at psyonics.
