When I was a kid in the 80s I was always pissed that the TEAM of FIVE Dinobots didn't combine. How was that even possible? They always should have been a combiner team. Volcanicus is awesome!

When I was younger, I asked my parents for this set, thinking I would love it. Unfortunately, I don’t, and it’s kind of a shame. I wish I asked for something else, like a Titans Return Leader, which I could probably have more fun with, instead of collecting dust in a bin.

Volcanicus is such a cool concept but unfortunately the default combiner is just so bad. At least upgrade kits helped redeem it but its still disappointing you need to get those for a decent combiner.

The upgrade kit turns this thing into a completely different figure. Might as well fork out the extra money for the upgrade to make it a good figure.

Honestly, Prime Wars has some pretty cool original combiners. Victorion, Sky Reign, Optimus Maximus, Volcanicus...heck even Betatron. I love how all these guys and combine with one another it was like building your own combiner.

Dinobots have always been my favorite TF’s but I’ve always HATED Volcanicus. maybe one day they will do him justice because the idea is fire, but the examples we’ve gotten so far have just been straight TRASH.

I only got PC-21 which were the hands and feet upgrade parts. No plans on getting the other sets to at least make it better-looking.

I got KOs of them and the upgrade kit and it looks pretty good. The Grimlock KO came with FoC Red translucent sword and the kit came with a bigger yellow one (not translucent). I have him holding the big sword in one hand sitting on his shoulder while the other hand carries the smaller one and he looks pretty bad ass dual wielding those like a sword and a countersword. Yeah it needs the kit, but it looks great with it.

I feel the dinobots only being able to combine as a duos but never all together would be cooler because the dinobots were always so cool because they stood up against combiners without combining

I have completed this guy, and to me this was a start. It was worse, yes, but it didn't stop us from getting later iterations of Volcanicus beginning with Cyberverse which I believe would be given the premium treatment in the near future, and probably the best version there is, the Legacy Evolution version, where we got Skar/Scarr as the sixth Dinobot in the fray.

I had Swoop and i enjoyed him for the most part. Sold him off eventually, then found an oversized KO for a good price and he was also... fine. I got the 86 figure the other day and im thinking "Oh, i liked the deluxe aesthetic... but this is a way better toy."

i know it's pointless to compare mainline to third party but like gcreation's shuraking came out way before this guy and despite having a few of the same flaws (poorly thought out engineering, instability in combined mode) i'd still say it turned out far better than this by virtue of yk actually being a good display piece hopefully with hasbro's new and improved combiner tech we can get an actually decent version of this design one day

I have the KO for them. If grimlocks hips actually worked it'd be a brilliant combiner, especially if you use some fan mode trickery to get a more proportional combined mode.

I hate blue Swoop. Every other Dinobot is red. It just throws off the whole thing & he sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm still hoping they'll release a red leader Swoop.

I knew PotP Volcanicus would be an awful-looking combiner so I didn't bought the set. But I do agree that the individual Dinobots looks fine until the SS86 Dinobots version came along

I got the dna design upgrades they help. The dinobot combiner should have been a titan like predaking thou leta be real they did predaking dirty except for the combined mode seriously at that point say f it make a combinrler action master that is super posable hugly detailed and called it a day because nobody has potp predaking as a team or animal modes its combined or collecting dust.

I hope they make a less.. terrible version of a dinobot combiner. I skipped the 86 Dinobots for that reason. I'm not a huge fan of them really, I don't care for the dinobots much but with a 3rd mode gimmick deal. I'd bite

O think they are like 3 i think two of them are third party one for expensive income and the other one are cheaper and i think hasbro os working on a cyberverse one a real one but that might third party i just remeber seeing leaks about it
