Hey Baron, for your base defense I'm not too sure how effective your first sniper tower position is. Once your first bunker and sandbag goes down your sniper tower will be taken out quickly as there are no obstacles in the enemies way. I think a good way to utilize this sniper tower is to relocate it behind your first wall of defense and angle it towards your base. In this way as the enemy moves from your first line of defense to your second they are slowly picked off. And the enemy troops may ingore it because of how far it is from the path to go to your base, just like how they ignore your motor. For your offense, I know its been rough. I think you should respond assault first because they are cheap and they can clear the enemys' explosive barrels. Also just destroy walls where the towers are pointed at.

You could have taken out that first base pretty easily, if you had moved upwards and blown a hole in the walls at the top, instead of going down, because all his guns were facing downwards you would have been in their back instead of the painful front. ;) 2nd attack would have been won with a focus fire, but even without it you could have had it easier if you had taken out the barbed wire with a missle... like you yourself said when watching the defense of your own base at the beginning. 3th attack the same as the 1st, the bunkers and sniper towers point downwards so you should have made your hole at the top, exactly where you wrote your "up here?". Since you punched the hole exactly aside of the barbed wire, they still ran through it, and units do not fire back while they're entangled in barbed wire, which is why they got massacred without resistance... same problem as the 2nd attack. Last attack, well the barrels killed your guys ;) but after that... same mistake again, you didn't check where the turrets look at and went in front of them, which could have been avoided by... blowing a hole in the walls at the top again. So you might have won 3 of these 4 by just entering at the top instead of the bottom.

how to get too win alliance battel: 1. 5 important card are: tactical boots, rally flag, more munition,ranger and forcus fire. 2. when you doing allinace battel, alway send a scout team (5 grunt or 20-25 to take out the HQ squad). 3. WATCH OUT for "barrels " and "barrier wire"!!! if you don't have tactical boots, destroy the barrier wire at all cost( with missile). 4. when using "focus fire" all unit will increase their range and fire at target, But they also need vision to the target (the can't shoot through rock! ) so if the target is not visionable, the unit will rally to the nearest point where they can see it (at 13:35 ... don't do that again) . When want to break through wall, you should target a build behind instead of the walls (if can). 5. dont use "tear gas" and "decoy" too early, time it right ( only when your unit about to get in enemy sight ) after you use "focus fire", when your unit break the wall.Oh and dont put decoy in wier position.... put it near the choke point or a place that every enemy units and building can SEE (if there are explosive unit, ya know wat to do...). 6. ya should finish the base in ONE push! use rally flag to group up all your good unit and drill through the base. -. A medic can save all near by unit from "fire bom". The fire bom not deal enough damage in time as the medic heal them. -. you can check more detail about the base ( "view detail" button). the "Bommbadier" you see maybe just the last stand card. (bring 1 or 2 missile and only target them, the base should be easy). like so Baron can see . or I hope he can...

Check the enemy firing angles when taking down walls esp around bunkers, you keep opening the bases at the wrong points and wasting your men's lives lol, also, with your army comp of explosives, you can destroy A HECK of walls if you use the rally + focus fire well, just remember the firing arcs of the enemy emplacements

RPGs are a lot better at breaking through walls with focus fire and plus they are a lot more accurate and deal more damage then grenade launchers according to the stats.

Also, Try using flamethrower. They are basically napalm and machine gun combined into one. Also, readd the cheap cost card to your grunts. If you have 100 munitions, you can buy 2 waves of them instead of one. 30 dollars may not seem a lot, but they can be crucial

Baron When you're assigning perks to your units, remember to take off perks that you can use to upgrade. Intelligence report #8405693 Subject: Help for Baron's Brigade. Dear sir, As you know, the Brigade has recently been suffering a series of severe losses. This is proof that our forces are currently not functioning at its best, so as such I am here to suggest some ideas for helping Baron's Brigade return to glory. 1. Play another Gold episode, to provide the army with better card packs. The Brigade will be sure to like the video and help fund the army. 2. Try putting minimum wage on your Grenade launchers and combine that with Focus Fire on far away bunkers/sniper towers (that are behind walls, so your Grenadiers hit the walls and stuff in the way of the target as well as the target itself.) You've said in multiple episodes that your Grenadiers are some of your best soldiers, so use that to your advantage. If they're cheap from Minimum Wage and aiming at a priority target with Focus Fire, that's a literal ton of ordinance being rained down upon the foe. 3. On the defense front: Try adding poison or fire barrels around your base's choke point. 4. Give either your Grunts or your Assault troops the V level Unstoppable perk. They are your first troops into the fray, so you don't want them to be slowed by barbed wire. 5. Rangers lead the way! Try using them and your Mercenaries more often, since from what I've seen they seem to be very effective. 6. I don't think we've ever seen you test the Sharpshooter hero you unlocked from one of those card packs. Try testing him with the Sniper's perks in one video and see which one is more effective. 7. Maybe try giving the poison bullets to your MG? 8. As John Mcbon suggested, flamethrowers are good anti-personnel units. If you suspect mass infantry, try fielding them. Hopefully some or all of these tips will return the Brigade to its former glory. I hope that you will put this intelligence to use and bring Glory to the men and women of this mighty army! You should do a massive perk assigning. Take off all perks on all units and decide which perks you want to use. Then upgrade them and have all platinum perks. Might backfire but only one way to find out.

Don't forget that you can recycle cards in the Inventory section. You have tons of cards that you never use that could be recycled to try for more Focus Fire's and other important cards. Also, Rally flags are really useful to get through barb wire quickly.

-Dungeons 3 is a really good game that is a fairly new release -Mushroom Wars 2 is lso fairly good. -In terms of strategy games that are unique, there is executive assault, planetary annihilation. -I'm also generally enjoying they are billions, and guns up baron. Hey baron the rangers seem to work out really good for me. You need to have a troop that deals high damage and quickly because the slow troops are easier for snipers. I always begin my attacks first with a wave of rangers grunts and medics and it most of the time works out to perfection but it depends on the base so look at how many snipers and bunkers it has so you can determine the cards to use.

One reason you keep losing is that u aren't using medics because they constantly heal troops and also if you put extra health on your troops the medics are WAY better and help SO much more.

Hey Baron, You should restructure your base so that it is more condensed and compact as your defences are too spread out. If you kept it compact and kept enemy entry points forced to one extremely small area, you can set-up more Crossfire zones and make your bunkers and towers work more effectively over a smaller area. But be sure that you can anticipate any routing points via breaking walls.

baron, I feel the same pain ur going through in this video. I don't think it's your units at all and I strongly believe that it's actually the peoples bases. because my old days of playing guns up I too had the feeling of an almost unstoppable force, until the same day/experience as yours arrived for me. I've never really had any good missions ever since. my average difficulty is 2 skulls but I feel like it might drop down to 1 skull that's how bad it's gotten for me.

Just a quick tip for baron: You should save the specials for as late as possible when doing cpu base defense, if your base/choke point cant handle one rocketeer you gotta fix it. Edit* Also try setting up barrels in the mortar killzone as the mortar shots can explode the barrels dealing huge damage. Edit edit* sniper towers cant fire over bunkers! Love your vids

Baron you're using focus fires to make a shortcut to their choke points. You don't want to do that. Use the focus fires to make a hole where their towers and soldiers AREN'T aimed at. Sometimes you'll have to just push through the first wave of defenses before you find that sweet spot. And P.S...STOP SENDING IN YOUR BEST TROOPS WITH THE GRUNTS AT THE BEGINNING! Everyone in that wave IS GOING TO DIE! Having surgeons and RPG's tag along isn't going to help anyone. Its just a waste of munitions.

Rather than using decoys on buildings, try using them on walls because they have a higher chance of actually getting hit or destroyed....take advantage of enemy explosives....this also allows you to save your focus fires and missiles.

Get rid of the rock between the sniper tower and the bunker on the front lines then oyu can mvoe your bunker further back/ around the corner which gives oyu more cover and allows your sniper to fire.

BaronVonTactics, I you read this please listen. I know I don’t play Guns Up! But please listen. I have been studying your tactics and I would like to give a suggestion. 1.) Uber Riot Dudes: deploy time, steady and increase health. I think they are supposed to soak up damage. 2.) If you want to replace a dudes spawning at a tent with someone else, you should put someone who takes longer to spawn in the tent that spawns people quicker. 3.) For bigger bases when you get more spaced to have cards, put the card that decreases cost and increase munitions because sometimes on higher base, I see you use up your munitions really quickly because of more expensive units. 4.) Now this is a suggestion, try not to use as many grunts and wait for better units to be able to spawn. 5.) Now this one goes hand and hand with number 1. Try using shield dudes on choke points to defend other units. 6.) If you choose to go with Number 3 or Numbers 1+ 5, use rally flags to get all the units clumped up. 7.) For Pyros/ Flame units, Equip fire resistance and steady because I have seen people with pyros and after the pyros shoot their flamethrowers, they walk through their own flames and stagger and get damaged. Also, do this to every unit when you attack with flamethrower units/ pyros/ flame units. 8.) With The machine gun units, equip the poison bullets the grunts have. The machine gun units have faster fire rate meaning bigger spread. Bigger spread means that if there is a clump of units, the machine gun units will poison most/all of them. Please listen to me even though I don’t play the game. Remember, this is just a suggestion but it will make my day if you listen. Also, when you get the riot shield, remember to listen to my shield unit suggestions. If you can’t remember, try to save this comment. Again please listen to me. I suggest that you replace your Steady perk on the grunts with an Accuracy perk as the grunts die easily and don't stagger much while they are quite inaccurate. This would probably increase the damage

I noticed that this has happened to me as well. It seems that either the alliance battle search results have been changed, or some kind of ai tweak has made all my tactics useless :p However, i do suggest you try to visualize where all the buildings are facing and then choose your break in point. 2 of these battles you just broke in in front of all the buildings instead of behind them :p I also suggest you try to use tier gas AFTER all your units are grouped up and start firing, compared to before. Using focus fire while an enemy troop spawn is coming towards you also is a terrible idea ;) I'm glad you fixed your perks and hats! I do suggest you put the reduced cost back on grunts though.

Baron you should unlock riots and then put the "volunteer" perk on them. Also, put only helmets that heal troops. Lastly, open more packs to get stuff like commando.

Use your decoys in front of your army when they enter the choke point so every unit that would fire on your units will be firing at the decoy instead and mercs are very expensive for only 2 units, rangers are better imo and if you're going to bring a focus fire bring 1 or 2 rally flags as well so u can rally flag in a good spot to set up all your units to fire on whatever you focus fire and use decoys/tear gas when your main group comes under fire instead of just the first 2 or 3 people in your wave.

There's a game called battle for wesnoth, it's quite old but it's a very strategy based game with a fantasy universe although it takes a while to get used to it can be fun if you're patient with it and learn the different fantasy factions

TOO PUT IT SIMPLY BARON YOUR WASTING YOUR SPECIALS!!!! , I'VE TRIED TO TELL YOU WEEKS AGO STOP JUST PLANTING YOUR DECOYS TO TAKE OUT A single target . use your decoys to force the bunkers and sniper towers to fire away from your units , sure you may not kill and units with the decoy but u do buy time for your units to get into position and i agree 100% with dragon pz 13:35 that was a huge costly mistake , if you dont have focus fire , use combat boots card , helps alot when dealing with barbed wire , since your using your lvl 5 speed on your assaults use them as your scouts (in the beginning spawn one assault squad and use them to scout out the defenses )dont worry if they die , they are sacrificial if you use them as scouts , give them speed , fire rate and minimum wage or if not fire rate faster spawning some bases need a zerg force to win ) so you dont need both grunts and assaults. i use assaults, roits, rangers and mini gunners , and rockets i'm still willing to join barons brigades if you looking for people to fight and win i've join to many alliances that have over 50% of it afk or mia warwick891 is my steam name plz add me you can feel free to use my base as a practice base , pluas i'd be glad to test your base whenever you wish to see how someone would attack it .

Ok Baron, so first you should play in #BaronVonTactics more of No King No Kingdom, and if you keep on Playing Formata that would be great too. Second, When there is a Building that has low health and you have a missile or Napalm, DESTROY IT! Don´t keep on doing the same mistake over and over again of targeting another building which you won´t be able to destroy... As in one of the comments I read: "more guns is better". In which case, if the building is low in health, it can STILL kill a lot of units. Hope this helps! ;)

On your grenade launchers, you have a silver reload speed and you have two as reserve, if you remove his perk, you can get a gold reload speed perk which you can use.

You keep forgeting to break in their defences where some of the buildings are facing other way. Example, Last battle, rally on top next to wall, focus fire at the top sniper, you probably would destroy those 2 walls on top that way, and catch bunker +2 sniper towers out of possition to shoot at all.

Baron, top tier and alliance battles heavily defend on you taking a focus fire maybe two. Personally I take (focus fire, rally flag, tear gas and extra munitions). Also you'll find it easier once you unlock riots. I take Riots, grunts, bombardiers, surgeons and sharpshooters or snipers.
