When i was probably around 16 i was over at my bros place out in the country, we decided we were gonna campout in the barn on his property and had a small fire going in a fire pit outside, it started raining so like a bunch of degenerates we dragged the burning fire pit into the barn. one of my other homies who was there decided to dump a couple solo cups filled with gas on the fire after we had it inside and the flames shot up into the rafters of the barn, mind you the entire structure was very old and made of wood. surprisingly the barn never caught fire, although sometime between 2-3am we were sitting around passing a joint, the fire was barely going at this point and my friend whose place we were at got a call from his dad. The barn was clearly visible from the house and apparently his dad woke up in the middle of the night and saw us sitting around the fire in the barn. told him to use some common sense and get the fire out, so my homie dragged the fire pit back outside. then it ended up getting cold and i'm pretty sure i slept in my car with the heat on. 22 now probably won't do that again, but it's a memory that lives rent free in my head.

Use diesel fuel. It doesn't combust as much and dump a little bit on the bonfire. and dip an old rag or sock in the fuel. and light it on a stick and throw it in. My way of doing it. Safer
