The WORST DEFEAT of my Goalkeeper Career

I played in the B team as captain for some time as a kid, over a span of like 4 years we got basically whooped every season by like 7 or 8 teams, had to have been the best time I had as gk . I always had work and basically learned so much mechanically-wise. Once I was at the A team I had like 3 or 4 saves when the opposing team had a good game. My defense was just so good that my form in game got so rusty. So games like that are insanely valuable, as a squad you will get better by knowing what the opposing has done to play their A game

Good performance in goal 👍 you did nothing wrong, made some important catches, parries and claims from crosses/corners, only the defence needed to sharpen up there but at 4-1 final score that's not a smashing.

Im a 13 year old GK so take a penny of advice from me but, when they were playing the ball out wide to there left wing, that's your right backs obligation backdoor, your right back should definitely check out to that guy, you can js simply communicate to him.

I am a keeper, I started at 7 years old as a keeper and I am 9 years old turning 10 but today is Dec 31 , My biggest lost was 6-1😢 but I have won games 16-0, 11-1 and 8-7. I play for the U11 A team and the U12 A team for my school, for my club I play for U12 A team and the U11 B team and I play a thing called golden age for the U12 A team as a Keeper

It's like me playing for my former Christian Union team again: 1) The tactics are such a high-press that our defense is not prioritised as well as it should be. 2) We have a keeper as good as ScouseGK, but; 3) The defenders can sometimes improve (at least, I'm Mr Slow as is no. 6).

Tough to take aren't they, we can't control games like that though. I don't think there was many things I'd do differently in the game, possibly more communication with me team?

@@TheScouseGK Yeah, more communication’s always a good thing. I think your teammates also need to work a bit on their passing accuracy. I thought you were pretty good that match, you were just unlucky that your team were outclassed in outfield. In my case, my right back got done in by their winger twice, forcing me into 1v1 situations. Now I’m nowhere near as good as you are in 1v1 situations, that’s something I need to improve.

My worst defeat was 6-4… the referees didn’t show up so the opposition coach refereed the game, they scored a dodgy pen, and 3 offsides goals. On top of that their grass was rock solid and felt like concrete I could barely stand at the end of the game

Once lost 12-0 when I was a goalkeeper. I got man of the match so probably tells you how bad we played. They must have had about 30 shots to our 1. Was an absolute travesty. One of players walked off at 9-0. We did okay after that though. Finished about 8th in a 16 team league. Turns out our first game of season was against a B team but their B team was better than their A team. They called themselves B team to lull people into a false sense of security.
