The thing about real animal skin constructed bags is that you have to take care of it and actually moisturize them so that they don’t scratch or fade that easily. Again, it’s real skin, you gotta hydrate it.

I think she could still like the look of the bags which is usually what draws people to them in the first place. The first Chanel’s leather doesn’t hold up as nicely as their other leather option. The last bag is super heavy and that can wear on your over time. She obviously likes some micro bags like the mini lady Dior so she though the pink tweed bag would also be good but that one just looks like it’s stiff and hard to get anything in or out. Lots of these things aren’t immediately noticeable when buying a bag

Having more different bags will give you different choices, or feelings. I used to think bags with full leather inside and outside were high-end, but now I think bags lined with cloth are better because they are lighter *gtdupe*

I feel like these are all terrible reasons. You bought them impulsively without any thought, that's the reason. All of these bags are exactly what you would expect them to be. Although plenty of people have no trouble taking care of their lambskin. My classic is in caviar, but I have a flap wallet in lambskin & it's done well over several years without being babied

Chanel needs to be stopped with the lambskin bags. They start to wear immediately even if you're careful with it. And the heavy chain will hurt your shoulders. All bc it's designer does not mean they are thoughtfully or wellmade.

For the Chanel tote bag you can probably swap the handles really easily for clasp on ones. Also speaking from experice (I own a guess bag like that) don't buy bags with chain straps that go all the way. Expecially if they're huge. They'll dig into your arm and feel really weird. My guess bag being a smaller baguette bag doesn't hurt as much because you can't fit much in there to make it heavy. Yeah you can squeeze in a half a liter water bottle and that's all that's going to ruin your day. It's going to dig no matter how you wear it. And because the cross body strap is thin that's going to dig too. And if you think thin straps are better, no they feel awkward. My mom has a bag with a thin chain strap and it feels awkward on the shoulder and not so stable. You're better off with a bigger chain on a smaller bag only. Also if the chain is light you need to worry about how durable it is. It might snap or deform really easily and it's not worth it. Edit: by all the way I mean where the strap is chain all over and doesn't have that leather or faux leather panel in the center to work around the digging issue.
