As a kid I used to think archaeologists research dinosaurs. These B movies, bad as they were, inspired me to become a fossil hunter. I even collected stones that has leaf impressions that were dumped on a construction disposal area next to my home. Alas, I later discovered that my country, the whole region in fact, was underwater much of the prehistoric times so paleontology is not a viable career option here. And my mother threw away the stones away while I was in college, saying they invite bad sprirts. She didn't throw away my p0rn stash, however.

My parents adore the Polonia Bros movies, simply because they are absolutely awful XD My folks love B movies and below, they enjoy seeing how horribly funny and awkward they can be while still seeing the passion of the writer/director to make them, so when they discovered the Polonias they were hooked. I unironically have a lot of respect for them. They were dedicated to their craft, clearly had a good time making it, seem genuinely appreciative of their fans and followers, know exactly what it is they're making and want you to know what they're making and have no pretensions otherwise as to the quality of the product. This isn't like Neil Breen using bizarrely constructed films with bad effects to deliver bonkers Aesop's and manifestos, or an Asylum property whose objective is to deceive the viewer with titles linked to hot new properties. These are just silly films made purely for the fun of making silly, stupid films. That Mark Polonia continues to make films despite the passing of his brother is also commendable, and I am glad to hear that he was able to bounce back from the tragedy. Before this movie my knowledge of their works sort of began and ended with the films of theirs that were showcased on Best of the Worst.

Have you heard of the Primitive War books? Not sure if you'd like them or would want to do a video on them. I read the first one a couple years ago, it was pretty alright though in my opinion it made the main villain dino a bit too smart, like how lots of movies turn dinosaurs in to slasher villains. But it was nice to read a dinosaur horror story from a more modern time at least!

i really shouldn't be surprised, but i see that my own idea of possibly making an indie dinosaur found footage movie has been pre-empted :P my own idea is to set it as a camping trip to the desert by a group of friends (possibly myself and my own actual circle of friends) where they come under attack by a time-displaced theropod, the idea being to use one of those suits like from the Walking With Dinosaurs arena show rather than superimposing toys or puppets into the scene
