Many East Asian languages translate Dinosaur to something to the effect of "fearsome dragon". For example in Japanese it's Kyoryu (恐竜) & in Chinese it's Kǒnglóng (恐龙). The names are being translated from English to presumably Chinese & back to English, hence the weird names like Wrist Dragon (Brachiosaurus) or Ox Dragon (Carnotaurus). No idea why some are mistakenly given the names of plants or chemicals.
