That uneasiness you feel with Alice in Wonderland is part of why I love it. I love the unreality, the disturbing, the whole uneasy 'nothing is quite or real here' feeling. And in the end, Alice is still a hero, who does the right thing, and overcomes the obstacles. Did it happen? Was it all a dream? We can't say for sure, but she grew up some... and still kept her sense of wonder and life.

It was one of the books we studied at university, and being a creative writing course the others were all about over-analysing. I (jokingly) suggested that because of the 'warring factions' being all inside Alice's dream, it could be a sign that she's schizophrenic. AND THE TEACHER AND OTHER STUDENTS TOOK IS SERIOUSLY. It was one of those 'gone horribly right' situations. It's just supposed to be a story to entertain children. Le sigh. But I can say, with authority, that the best version is from the 1990s. Watched it the other night, since Robbie Coltrane played one of the Tweedles. It's a STELLAR British/American cast, and actually takes elements both from 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking Glass'. Whoopi Goldberg is the Cheshire Cat.

Yeah the cardboard is a big win for me! You can also use it as a template to make customized locker backings which I think would be lots of fun for everyone. But the contents of this locker is just sad, it should at least seem like more than their standard backpacks.

I will say to your question on why I like Alice In Wonderland. As a kid who didn't have the best home life, I enjoyed the thought of escaping and going to a magical place like Alice went. The idea that there was adventure around every corner and the idea that anything was possible. Anytime I was feeling down I could watch the original cartoon and pretend that a world like that was possible. Plus as someone who is more artistic with a active imagination, it was amazing to see how they interpreted everyday things in this world. Such as a bread and butter fly instead of a butterfly. Hopefully that makes sense and gives you some perspective.

Alice fell asleep while reading which is a shows that books take you on adventures. The poppies are my favorite scene. I didn't enjoy the live action as much as I thought but it was good either way. Alice in wonderland has been done multiple times and the novel is so much fun to read too.

The reasons I love Alice in Wonderland is because it's so nonsensical and that's what the author was intended it to be and also the book helped me through very time and I love how the adaptations for the Tim Burton films and the Disney films find out in my opinion they turned out really good they really captured the books both of the books very well

I really like alice and wonderland, watched every version! It can be a bit unsettling sometimes (I like horror movies so it hasn't bothered me lol) but it's also incredibly fun, it's a magical world where anything can be or do anything and that's the charm of it all that I love so much! I have a rather unusual reason for enjoying Alice in Wonderland. I used to record the full audio of movies to listen to at work. I particularly liked the movies that feel like they are shorter than they actually are (because it made my workday go by faster as well). My go to movie audios were Alice in Wonderland, The Junglebook, Labyrinth, The Lion King and Cinderella. Consequently, I am now able to speak along with all the duologue of those movies whenever I watch them. 😊

I like alice and wonderland becuase of how chaotic and weird it is. It showcased Disney’s true creativity that we rarely see anymore- it has memorable characters and the strange plot actually works with the world and idea that it really is Alice’s dream world. I've seen all 3 Zombies shows on Freeform. They are campy cheesy and fun to watch on a rainy day. There are musical dance numbers and a happy ending you can see from a mile away. Highly recommend and love you Nerdy!

I always enjoyed Alice in Wonderland. I love the books and the cartoon movie, The live-action movies not so much. I was always a weird kid who also suffered from migraines with auras ;I didn't learn this until much later but apparently the book's author Lewis Carroll also suffered from migraines and epilepsy, some historians believe this is what inspired some of the aspects of the books.

Z-O-M-B-I-E-S is a movie trilogy, it's not great, but I find it enjoyably cheesy. Zed and Addison are the main characters and also the main couple! Yes, that is the Zombie language on the designs. They do not turn into zombies during the full moon, but are permanently zombies, though I think the moon is a reference to the werewolves in the second movie. Like somebody else said, the floofy things are pom-poms, since Addison is a cheerleader!

tbh as much as i understand the other critiques i dont think the cardboard cutout for the backing was a bad idea. it makes it so u can change it up (as opposed to a pretty permanent sticker) and is really great for ppl with poor fine motor skills (like kids and people with certain disabilities). even if i didnt have motor skill issues myself i dont think id enjoy the finicky process of trying to precisely apply large stickers in such a cramped space

I do agree with the cardboard background idea. But they could have added more of them, maybe some for different areas too. But the little clips and basket missing, the fact there wasn't anything in the backpack? And for 25 dollars? No thank you!

@@akirananimoto5843 i totally agree. i wouldnt pay $25 for this at all, its just a hunk of plastic and some cardboard and stickers. everything is so uninspired and barebones. i get that ur supposed to have room to put ur own things in there but it just seems a little low effort and like another attempt to make money off of unknowing parents 😔

This is one of those sneaky ways just how bad inflation is hides. A cardboard backer instead of decals, fewer items, reused artwork, etc. One of the weirdest ways I started noticing this was realizing my canned vegetables were starting to contain more and more pieces they'd typically discard as waste. Now those things help make up the weight of the can, and _I_ have to throw those pieces out.

I think specifically it's not Alice in Wonderland themed it's JUST the Cheshire cat. Also, the print on the mirror isn't off center like... unintentionally? I don't think anyway lol, because he is always a little off tilt. I think more people freak out over the Cheshire cat than they do Alice herself!

I only started liking Alice in wonderland when I got older. I like the trippy and psychological aspects of it. She shows symptoms of dissociative disorders and it can get pretty dark the deeper you dig. And not just Alice! The characters too! Humpty Dumpty literally describes prosopagnosia (face blindness) to a tee, and could be the earliest representation of that disorder in literature! Very interesting stuff

I like Alice in Wonderland. I also wasn't fan of the Disney movie as a kid but I've changed my mind after reading the book. I love how strange the story is and how you can interpret it differently each time because the story is just pure nonsense. I recently watched anime based on Alice in Wonderland and it was good as well 😂😆 although it was very gay.

The Disney locker was the worst of all the lockers you've ever opened. I feel like more and more Disney is trying to do the least amount, yet charge you high for the name. It gives me the vibe of the pink tax so many people talk about. How they charge women more money for the same products just because they are pink like razors. Even the backpacks were a letdown for me. They had less items then previous bags you've opened. And they didn't even include a charm which I felt was a staple with their bags. You didn't mention it but the Ursula notebook was damaged in the back towards the bottom. I know I've seen articles pop up more and more how customers who love Disney are starting to push away. That even Disneyland feels like a cash grab and less like that magical feeling originally created by Walt Disney.
