That uneasiness you feel with Alice in Wonderland is part of why I love it. I love the unreality, the disturbing, the whole uneasy 'nothing is quite or real here' feeling. And in the end, Alice is still a hero, who does the right thing, and overcomes the obstacles. Did it happen? Was it all a dream? We can't say for sure, but she grew up some... and still kept her sense of wonder and life.

It was one of the books we studied at university, and being a creative writing course the others were all about over-analysing. I (jokingly) suggested that because of the 'warring factions' being all inside Alice's dream, it could be a sign that she's schizophrenic. AND THE TEACHER AND OTHER STUDENTS TOOK IS SERIOUSLY. It was one of those 'gone horribly right' situations. It's just supposed to be a story to entertain children. Le sigh. But I can say, with authority, that the best version is from the 1990s. Watched it the other night, since Robbie Coltrane played one of the Tweedles. It's a STELLAR British/American cast, and actually takes elements both from 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking Glass'. Whoopi Goldberg is the Cheshire Cat.

The reasons I love Alice in Wonderland is because it's so nonsensical and that's what the author was intended it to be and also the book helped me through very time and I love how the adaptations for the Tim Burton films and the Disney films find out in my opinion they turned out really good they really captured the books both of the books very well

I will say to your question on why I like Alice In Wonderland. As a kid who didn't have the best home life, I enjoyed the thought of escaping and going to a magical place like Alice went. The idea that there was adventure around every corner and the idea that anything was possible. Anytime I was feeling down I could watch the original cartoon and pretend that a world like that was possible. Plus as someone who is more artistic with a active imagination, it was amazing to see how they interpreted everyday things in this world. Such as a bread and butter fly instead of a butterfly. Hopefully that makes sense and gives you some perspective.

Alice fell asleep while reading which is a shows that books take you on adventures. The poppies are my favorite scene. I didn't enjoy the live action as much as I thought but it was good either way. Alice in wonderland has been done multiple times and the novel is so much fun to read too.

I really like alice and wonderland, watched every version! It can be a bit unsettling sometimes (I like horror movies so it hasn't bothered me lol) but it's also incredibly fun, it's a magical world where anything can be or do anything and that's the charm of it all that I love so much! Official documents can only be filled and signed with blue ink here, because black would seem as if it's scanned. So to separate the print and handwriting we use blue. I have a rather unusual reason for enjoying Alice in Wonderland. I used to record the full audio of movies to listen to at work. I particularly liked the movies that feel like they are shorter than they actually are (because it made my workday go by faster as well). My go to movie audios were Alice in Wonderland, The Junglebook, Labyrinth, The Lion King and Cinderella. Consequently, I am now able to speak along with all the duologue of those movies whenever I watch them. 😊

I was always a weird kid who also suffered from migraines with auras ;I didn't learn this until much later but apparently the book's author Lewis Carroll also suffered from migraines and epilepsy, some historians believe this is what inspired some of the aspects of the books.

I only started liking Alice in wonderland when I got older. I like the trippy and psychological aspects of it. She shows symptoms of dissociative disorders and it can get pretty dark the deeper you dig. And not just Alice! The characters too! Humpty Dumpty literally describes prosopagnosia (face blindness) to a tee, and could be the earliest representation of that disorder in literature! Very interesting stuff

This is one of those sneaky ways just how bad inflation is hides. A cardboard backer instead of decals, fewer items, reused artwork, etc. One of the weirdest ways I started noticing this was realizing my canned vegetables were starting to contain more and more pieces they'd typically discard as waste. Now those things help make up the weight of the can, and _I_ have to throw those pieces out.

The Disney locker was the worst of all the lockers you've ever opened. I feel like more and more Disney is trying to do the least amount, yet charge you high for the name. It gives me the vibe of the pink tax so many people talk about. How they charge women more money for the same products just because they are pink like razors. Even the backpacks were a letdown for me. They had less items then previous bags you've opened. And they didn't even include a charm which I felt was a staple with their bags. You didn't mention it but the Ursula notebook was damaged in the back towards the bottom. I know I've seen articles pop up more and more how customers who love Disney are starting to push away. I love Alice-in-Wonderland because I actually enjoy the unsettling vibe, it's so artistic and surreal , and creepy things attracted me as a kid because they were more interesting then regular kids shows

I Love Alice In Wonderland because I can always relate to Alice. It’s a very positive story about being strong in the face of adversity, overcoming your fears, and it has so much applicability to life. I once did research on the book and wrote a paper just for fun. The story fascinates me. I know several people who do not like it and say that it gives them and uneasy feeling. All I can say, is that it is definitely not for everyone.

Me and my siblings loved the Alice in Wonderland movie. We often watched it and almost knew the dialogs by heart .😆Why? Maybe the drawing and coloring style, the fantasy world, the funny, cute and crazy characters... We just really liked it.😀

My little is absolutely obsessed with Zombies. It's a really cute Romeo & Juliet type story. Each sequel gets crazier lol. First movie only has humans and zombies, the second movie introduces werewolves, and the third movie introduces aliens! It's wild, but nice.

I like Alice In Wonderland because I always felt like an outcast as a kid. My mom tells me that I used to cry watching the movie because I was sad for Alice feeling alone. I would say to her "I'm here with you!". Besides, I like the aesthetic of the cartoon overall 💕

I love Alice in wonderland bc it’s so out there and trippy. It reminds me of folk tales I heard as a little Slav Grain. Characters who are neither evil nor good, they just are. The message being that of thinking what you wish for.

Alice in Wonderland gave me nightmares as a child. I think it’s because it is such a frustrating situation, Alice is either too big or too small and can never get a straight answer or any sense out of anyone she meets. I think Lewis Carroll was high as a kite when he wrote it.
