You can also disable auto start stop for free if you have FORScan and an OBDII adapter.

Can be disabled with FORScan for only the cost of an OBDII adapter if you don’t already have one. FORScan can also disable auto start stop

I don’t hate all start stop systems. I hate the overly aggressive ones that shut off once the vehicle stops completely without any time. After two years of Bronco time, I have not been able to soft pedal this system. My Last Yoda, I was able to soft break and avoid the shut down in a rolling stop sign.

Not sure why but my Ford Perf Tune keeps mine off (wonder if there was a software update/change over the years)? Also, you could use ForScan to disable this as well...a little less "opening the dash" but a little more "now, how do I turn on this 10 year old laptop"

Worst feature on the Bronco? More like worst feature on every modern vehicle that has AS/S. Also, it kind of sucks that (I think) after ‘22, that AS/S can’t be coded out via FORScan. FORScan made it painfully easy to disable AS/S, and it was a zero cost mod.

I like to refer to the button as the A-hole button. Why u ask?. Because when I was a kid if I got to a red light and I was to shut off my car my passenger would ask me why. I would then reply I am doing it to save gas. And then he would reply what are you some kind of A- hole!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂

Seems like money and time spent on some thing that really isn’t an annoyance. The button is near the ignition switch/ shifter , just have to stick a finger out when you grab the gear shift or turn the bronco on.

This is terrible and in the computer it only allows so many starts on that starter so you end up having to replace your starter at a certain number of starts because they don’t want to chance that failing to start so it’s not a good thing you can’t save money if you have to replace your starter, you can’t save enough fuel to overcome that

This is not a "Feature" It is a federal mandate. Every vehicle is required to have start stop.
