I prefer Giorgio Armani Stronger With You Intensely. Has a nicer spice to it, imo. But you can never go wrong, some scents mix better with people than others and there will always be someone that will like it. A lot of these are popular for a reason. Dior Fahrenheit gives off those Fast and the Furious vibes, like I could see Vin Diesel rocking it.

I agree with everything on the list, besides Fahrenheit; but hey it's your opinion and I respect that; for me t's my favorite not only for the scent but also the memories tied with it. It's my first designer fragrance when I was in high school (college 1st year rn), and girls would just dig this smell. Despite the release date it's definitely still up there; but the other flankers like Aqua and Le Parfum is better for today since it's more modernized. And it's my dad's signature scent when we were very close before time constraints.

Fahrenheit smells so bad when my girlfriend sprayed it on a tester strip she went up to the employee at sephora and was like "this must have gone bad it smells terrible" the employee was like nah it just smell like that 😅

I have over a hundred fragrances, and I think molecule 01 is my favorite. I smell like really good clean cotton when I put it on and it is by far my most complimented fragrance. When I worked as a waiter I had a lady ask me what I was wearing and she wanted her entire table to smell my wrist because it’s so good. As well as a co-worker telling me she could smell where I went in the building because the scent would linger a bit, I asked her if it was too much and she told me no i actually like it . And one of my friends asked what I was wearing and he bought it too ☠️ Anyway that being said, the price of molecule 01 is getting ridiculous, I remember buying it for around €60 I think and now I can’t find it for less than €140

Yeah all it is is ISO E Super. You can buy that elsewhere at a third of the cost. That being said it everyone will smell it different, just like fragrance. Some more ambery, some woody, and some like plastic. I'm glad to hear it works for you though!

While I do understand what you’re saying about Fahrenheit, and have heard it from a number of people… For me… It is absolutely outstanding beyond description. Then again, I do fit the profile of someone who would probably enjoy it… 60 years old, 6’3”, 240 pounds, salt and pepper short beard, automotive worker etc lol Still to this day, it is the most I have ever reacted to smelling any fragrance ever… And in a very good way. Evidently, though, Fahrenheit Parfum is much less petrol like if someone was wanting to try, but was afraid of the EDT

I actually blind bought Mont Blanc Legend Blue and while it’s not terrible, I personally hate it for some reason. lol I can’t really explain it, I just don’t like how it smells. It gives me a headache… It’s almost a bit sour. Another popular scent that people like and recommend is Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee, but I just don’t like it at all. I’m not a fan of any of the Burberry Hero scents either. It’s all just personal preference at the end of the day.

I have a full bottle of L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme Eau Extreme, think I bought it in 2006 before the refomulation. Someone told me it's extremely rare and for the longest time I hated this fragrance. I reckon I was too young for it at the time (I was 16 years old back then). Now that I'm in my mid 30s I actually appreciate it more. The same with Terre De Hermes.

Great list, but if you want to beat Secretions Manifiques you need to get some Sombre by Strangers Pafumerie there is a fragrance store in the UK thay has the Sample under a glass closh saying do not spray unsupervised and staff will take somone out the store to test it, it smells so bad, and this store also sells Secretions Manfiques, I think that Sombre was created by the house for Haloween 2020 a must for anyone to to try but not on skin lol.

@ChadSecrets it's so bad, I can still smell it sometimes in nightmares, the note breakdown is Champagne, Jasmine, Mold Accord, Mud, Nocturnal Animals Accord, Orris (Iris Root), Pus, Rose, Sweat, Vomit Accord. The Perfume shop concerned is Bloom Perfumes in London, this is where I experienced this 'gem'

Hugo bottled red for me. I think it was the metallic note, i loved the rhubarb but about 15 mins after putting it on I'd become nauseous.

Loop is great if you are a tiny bop. Cool water is dirty pool water...awful. Doir is headache inducing. It has its place for some. Never tried secretion. Does not sound good at all. Molecule 01 is terrible. I agree with you 💯. Great video. Made me laugh a Lil.

One fragrance that doesn't get much love is Alien Man by Mugler. I find it's totally glossed over and nobody says much about it. I find that it's unique, different and quite nice smelling. Maybe you could check it out?

I’m curious about some of the Diesel fragrances, too. I used to have a Diesel in a milk carton that I liked as a teenager, but while this brand gets sold with all the rest at retailers nobody talks about it. lol They just released Diesel D Red this year and it’s piqued my interest. I used to also love Hugo Boss Red, but they discontinued it. I’m curious if any do the newer Boss frags smell like it. Like the red bottle that HU-GO on it for instance.

Was doing coursework for my job and the teacher there smelt JUST like Le Male so much to the point where I even asked if he was wearing it. He then responded by saying he was wearing Joop - blew me away bc when I went home and smelt my bottle of LeMale is smelt eerily similar and Le Male is still liked by so many people

Joop Homme was so ahead of its time, yes its synthetic but it still smells great. If you think Fahrenheit smells of diesel.. get your hands a vintage bottle, now that smells heavy😂. And secretions magnifique does exactly what it says on the tin... What was you expecting 😅. Molecule 01 is one of the most underrated fragrance ever created.. Iso e super and thats it Gaeza Schoen was a genius creating this. Use it to boost your lesser performing frags.

Fun video. I like Fahrenheit a lot; but you’re not alone there n feeling otherwise. IIRC, it contains a lot of iso-e super, and was in fact one of the three fragrances that put Geza Schoen onto the idea of releasing Molecule 1. So you’re consistent there!

@@ChadSecrets Well, to get into the weeds more than it matters... but so long as I'm telling you I should tell you the correction: he'd already experimented with just iso-e super, gave some to a friend he was drinking with, and a woman stopped by to ask what he was wearing. They asked her own favorites, and she said two (not three) -- Dior Fahrenheit, and Lancome Tresor. Which both have a lot of iso-e s. (You can find the interview - Persolaise episode 91, interview with Geza Schoen; this story starts at just about the 15 minute mark. Now I've been annoyingly thorough, LOL).

I wore Joop! Homme back in the late 90s. There have been all sorts of flankers that I always have seen in Germany that I havent seen in the USA. In the USA it is now a drugstore fragrance. The current version is not good and yes, headache inducing. For me, this scent is for my past. I'd never wear it now.

Molecule 01 is pretty obsolete, since many modern fragnances already have Iso E Super in their base, blended in so it actually smells nice. Adding more won’t do much for these. Same for molecule 02, although ambroxan is not as common - layering it with Sauvage won’t do much. On the other side, I agree that the price is just way high both as a layer base and a standalone wear, you can get a proper bottle for the money

Oh man Joop Homme is terrible. When I was a teenager a close friend of mine wore that crap all the time even though we would tell him it smells horrible. We would actually hide the bottle from him so he couldnt wear it. I havent tried that Oceanic Coolwater but it sounds horrible. I seen another reviewer on YT saying it was great ha. But hes just an amateur compared to you. I bought Farenheit years ago when I first got into fragrances because it was Dior..I immediately knew after spraying it on skin that I didnt like it. And this was back when it was getting good reviews. I thought waitt..um..is that gasoline mixed with an old persons bone ointment lol..Ive never taken the time to try molecule but ive seen good reviews on that one..

Checking in, been a minute since I’ve been here but the worst scent I’ve ever smelt on me was The Ghost In The Shell by Etat Libre D’orange. Not sure what exactly is about my skin chemistry, but it brings out the milk middle note (yes Chad, you read that correctly) and overwhelmed everything else about it. My hands smelt like that had been dunk in milk for 5 minutes. This is why I always say a skin test is key, it was amazing on a tester strip, then came the skin test Respectfully, hard pass. That being said, I’d like to see you review it yourself sometime in the future

Unfortunately, i haven't spent much time with Y EDP Intense. But with Y EDP it can be a little bit too sweet for high heat, so i would stick with cooler days or seasons personally

Both are good. I eventually bought Intense because it was on sale and I don’t regret it. It’s dry down is so addictive. It lasts all day. I put some on today at 3pm and it’s now 2am and I can still smell it on my wrist, which is usually the first place that the scent fades.

Probably the worst frag I tried is Initial by Flavia , awfull sharp synthetic mess...only in the drydown is lets say ok... And I love Joop homme and Fahrenheit, original and iconic scents...😉 And one of those; be easy on trigger, becuose they are quite strong... Atleast old versions...

Fahrenheit is definitely gasoline-like scent. You either love or hate it because the smell of gasoline is polarizing. I personally absolutely love this scent because to me gasoline smell is appealing

Hahaha no worries. Saw the tumbmail and was ready to fire some hate, but it was all cool. My least favorite fragrance is def Maison Margiela Sailors day, smells like fish, puke and gets me a headache.

Funny I went to eaton centre the other day to smell molecule 01 and yep I can’t smell it. Plus the WORST perfume I have and I don’t care if it’s anyone’s favourite is Rose Malaki from Choppard. omg. DISGUSTING! It smells like legit burning plastic for some reason though my gf likes it 😂😂😂 she’d probably like secretion magnifique as well. Weirdo. 😂
