I think Sam’s gadget where he knocks you back with his Knucklebusters deserves a honorable mention. Instead of pulling your opponents in, you push them away giving them time to escape and the knockback only happens when an opponent is hit at the maximum range of the super. It gets next to no value whenever it’s used.

In Line is such a terrible gadget, but there are definitely so many good ideas for a rework! My idea: When RT is in his split form, the gadget allows his base to teleport to RTs upper half (not that they fuse back together, but allows him to replace his lower half if he does not get super quickly and allows another burst of damage)

For Sam it would help a lot for the healing starpower to be a permanent chamge to the character and then have 2 new star powers. Sp1: when Sam throws his knuckle busters he recharges it in 5 seconds (for him to recall it) Sp2: when Sam is missing his knuckle busters he gets a 30% damage shield For him to not be op just nerf his general damage and the permanent healing from 20% to 15%

an easy way to do gadgets on some brawlers is to just increase damage for 1 and heal for other, doug has the same thing and they did it with pearl, but bc pearl is full on attack it’s completely useless and yeah needs changes, its like how eve second gadget is also useless

The thing is, these Gadets/SPP are even more terrible because, generally the other ones can change the Brawler’s gameplay or they are simply very very strong. A Brawler like Sam without Hearty Recovery would be the worst scum of all times.

I feel like Janet should have her star powers reworked. One is completely mandatory and the other is completely useless. Imo the faster charged shot star power should be her default charge speed

Sneaky sneakers gadget has some use cases, like being more aggressive, or dodging a piper that would put you into 2nd place in showdown. I just think the gadget is underrated

Heat Ejector is really underrated for holding off lanes on certain maps, and i switch to it when the enemy drafts a counter to my super For example, Tara. You can't go in for a big play against her due to her super, but you can still shoot through her pets, outrange, and get easy kills on her using heat ejector, rather than Flying Hook because that would get you killed almost instantly if you try to fly onto her

yeah it deals consistent damage and it is a good damage, problem is flying hook is 100% better in 90% of the matchups and about the same as heat ejector in the other 10%.

I feel like shocky is good against comps that like to stick together. Like in hotzone and certain heist maps. But if they dont have enough dps and struggle taking down the turret energize is the way to go. For jessie

I feel like that most of the star powers could be implemented in the brawler's kit rather than being a star power, given that half of them would be just much more useful on the brawler it would just make sense and I dont think it would necessarily be game breaking either

Jessie's Shocky is quite good in Heist when used with Recoil Spring. I mean Jessie has well-balanced Gadgets and Star Powers depending on what event you play.

About gadgets, I have this thought some time ago where you could use the 2 gadgets in the same match, but only 3 times. With some tweaks I think we could be fun and made the meta more dynamic. If its a unbalanced mess, they could make a special gamemode with this.

I love running penny with the spyglass and bomb sp, run the pet damage gear throw that super down to bump a guy and spam that gadget. Basically a rocket salvo and with the knock back you can get a good amount of super guaranteed from main attacks. All that said, penny is still ass.

Please tell brawl stars to fix the wintrading and picking low powers issue in power league :( I was one game off of from getting out of diamond 3 then my teammates keep purposefully picking bad brawlers and throwing. I was just 2-3 games away and my teammate picked power 1 Mico in knockout and kept running into enemy lines to give them stars, I kept killing the other team to get us to 17 stars but it didn’t matter because right before I got the last kill the Mico gave them the final kill they needed :(. I’m just trying to have fun and play but I can’t when I get teammates like this, they should be permanently banned
