No in any other match if you get knockout it’s a 90% chance that your opponent will win, but that’s because most of the time no one really tries to follow through or anything it’s always just an accident trying to have fun making this decision again one of the worst I’ve been doing this for quite a while people don’t often get disqualified or knocking someone out like I said it’s usually an accident 99% of the time

@HaveYouSeenThisChannel10 ай бұрын
Translation: As a competitor, I often found myself in situations like this, of facing an opponent so good that it made me feel overshadowed, but I never made use of the rules to win, much less with something as low as faking an injury so that they would give me a winner for not know how to beat him. What I did was let it go, prepare myself better for the next tournament so I could beat him. That is why that gold that the Iranian won is worth nothing, the winner was the Arab.

He was punished for his timing and precision; using his skills precisely. Makes the whole thing a mockery; simultaneously having a gold medalist in light sparring, who also was the one to be knocked out. Presumably the reasoning behind the D.Q. was due to the blow being considered full contact, in a light sparring point match. so, likely was D.Q"d for lack of control and discipline. But the opponent is receiving too much reward for lacking defensive skills and spacial awareness i.e. face diving into his leg.

This is the biggest embarrassment karate & the Olympics could ever face. The ancient Olympic games were about athletes showcasing their strength,athleticism & warfare skills in the games for their city states, javelin,discuss,vaulting,gymnastics, foot races,swimming,boxing,wrestling, pankration, they used it as a religious festival creating atheltic events that showcased the most desirable attributes of strong warriors.A way of deterring attacks & affording a time of peace between the states to allow greater commerce & exchange of ideas To see someone participate in a martial art/combat sport & be punished for a well executed strike like this is ridiculous.

@@caldeandrade69I am doing one of the oldest karate styles and we also have a no contact rule. Many people don't get that no contact doesn't mean no force, it means full control and full force. Every kick needs to be powerful, but a Master karateka needs to be able to control each kick so he can also stop it directly in front of his opponent without connecting. In other words he can knock the other down but needs to be able to make the decision not to at all times. And that's far more difficult than just hitting each other full force
