I lived in MEMPHIS , TN for seventeen years . I love the people and spirit of the LORD is there. Problem is the city and state government see these areas going down, but the Where are they? No jobs, no money equal poverty. So in a few more years when property values are so low the people in Collierville and other prominent areas will come back buy it up, fix it up and the elders who hung on all these years will not be about to afford their own neighborhoods. I am currently living very close to the hoods (between North Memphis and North of Midtown). It is indeed very sketchy. But its alright to drive around. Also, there are few safe streets to walk around. Gotta be careful though. Tbh, the whole Memphis is a rundown city. Hopefully, it picks up because its got its history and beautiful old buildings.
