I got a pair of the Hender Scheme Adidas shoes and let them sit for maybe a year, worried they'd get dirty. Decided to just wear them into the ground now and enjoy them, feels way better 😌

Literally have the same experience. I bought the version of the fours. Feel like they look more like a European shoe. Really gave me the Louie Kanye collab vibe. I was going to get a cobbler to put a thin vibram sole on top of the leather sole to give more traction and make resoling a lot easier. Just never got around to it. Glad I see others sit on hundreds of dollars lol. I’ll get around to it eventually

Adding the vibram sole literally changes everything on hender scheme shoes. Whenever you get a chance do it.

Oh No You Wouldn't! 8:09 😅 I still remember receiving the Dunk High Fragment Beijing completely unstitched in the toe box with holes and the leather quality for a collab was 💩. Completely Poor QC i had to return to Nike.

NGL…I bought two pairs of Overbreaks, ( diff color ways) because of YOU…I LITERALLY only use them to exercise now, because that cushion actually helped me build my calves 😀

Element 87 is an all time great. You just had to size up. I think it helped out I have narrow feet. But the element 85 (the non clear panel version) was the one that was milked. I was pissed that they didn't make enough of the 87. I got the olive green and red non undercover ones. They are actually one of my most versatile pairs. Maybe a re release in the future with a wider last? Also the Julius boot you could use a shoe tree to help stretch the midfoot?

Wait, I do like the Undercover react presto ones with the reflective laces and all over splatter paint. I've got those in my closet somewhere, I need to pull them out and start wearing them, thanks for reminding me. 👍

The Y-3 Noci high is a really cool and comfortable pair of boot sneakers, at least for me. I worn my pair a few days ago after a long time and I love them.

I have the Qasa Boots too, in all black. Thankfully I bought them years after Qasa/Y3 hype had dissipated in the West, so I got them for cheap - so it wasn’t a financial burden. I still like them but they’re a bit too techwear oriented for my streamlined Yohji fits and a bit too out there for my toned down vintage/skate esque look on my lazy days. Essentially it’s hard for me to build a fit around them that meets in the middle lol. But as someone who went from sneakerhead to the muted Yohji/Rick/Julius route my once beloved sneaker collection has mostly just been sitting at my parents home.

Feel you on the fit/practicality aspect of the boots. The same is for me with MMY. Many models don’t fit me because I’m in between sizes and it drives me crazy. Ended up selling them.

undercover nike collabs either are 0 or 100. The daybreaks for example are a perfect shoe for me. Incredibly comfortable, sick design, multiple easy to wear colourways.
