Yolo jumping oversights and tricks with hidden Power-ups are the most intentional. Unless level designing really is that intense that you really lose focus on these sort of things!

netweed09 And I can agree that level designers will hide a secondary path to the end for themselves, but cheese tends to be using items that are clearly given (not secret) to cheat the level, such as bringing a spring or shell through the level to make a jump easier, or using a propeller shroom to fly over the whole level.

Ryu, the "worst level ever made" looks like it's a series of offscreen lakitu throwing them. This is why it doesn't stay consistant; they accelerate past you and throw from a different angle, then slow down until you pass them, then repeat. It looks like you need to go forward then back with the wave, dodging the waves of spinies.

Adjustable difficulty via a settings is one thing; like in this game you are making... making a purposely shitty level that -needs- a hidden exit to beat; is not fun. And funny for the dev does in no way make it better. Your first Line contradicts that one. I love to watch Ryu try these hard levels too, and, too see him get so hosed is a rare thing. And, too, what does pointing out you don't onw the game or have any desire to own the console, merit?
