As a retro collector, the amount of "you dont get it!" is embarassing. It looks bad, end of. The textures are flat and barely lit, the fog looks like superman 64. No, no one cares if its your childhood, saying this looks bad doesnt retroactively ruin your up bringing, grow up. Also yes, obviously gameplay is important, which is why you should just play Hulk : Ultimate Destruction. A properly put together title and not a rushed movie tie in the studios B team lazily downscaled for tech they didnt care about anymore.

@@maxgordon3194 Yeah, it's been almost 20yrs and it's still the best. The only thing the 08' version improved was the graphics since it's rendered on what was next gen at the time. Ultimate Destruction was on the Ps2. If you wanna see what I mean in terms of enemies, look at the difference in fighting the mech suits. They use to scare the shit outta me as a kid. The Ed Norton ones aren't nearly as impressive. Plus you can run up walls in Ultimate Destruction while in the 08' version it's just a continuous uninterrupted animation. Abomination boss battles were pretty hard tho.

@@chimpwimp9407 unless you got the ps3 or xbox 360 version oyu aren't missing much back then due to piracy concerns on pc despite the hardware being able to run the game they released the last gen versions on pc which had no bump mapping and next gen shaders. they did the same with the ironman game on pc and a few more lol. thats why most game got ps3 and xbox 360 both platforms release even a wii version but never came to pc for the same reason. and yes I recall the abomination battle QTE was hard lol clicking the mouse button repeatedly got me annoyed as a 16 year old back then lol

Yes the 2003 version, it was enjoyable. I mean the boss battles were also good. We gotta see half life, mad man, ravage, flux and leader. But also what I didn't like about the game was that hulk had only the same moves from the beggining to the end.... Also the fights were more one on one (basically fight one enemy at a time and shift your focus to the next) . Overall it was good as we were kids back then. I remember playing it on my PC in 2004 .

I'll yap all I want because technology from 2009 was capable of making games far better than this. The old Grand Theft Autos are great examples. But the REAL example is Hulk Ultimate Destruction which this game copied.

Bro, while this game doesn’t have the best graphics, playing it as a kid was extremely fun. Going around and destroying skyscrapers and messing up big bosses was some of the most fun I’ve had in a video game.

Infamous and infamous 2 were really fun, once you got past a set amount of missions you could just roam the city’s and do destruction with all the amazing powers you have

The PS3 version was not that bad visually but yes Ultimate Destruction was not as good as these nostalgiaholics seem to think. This version of the Hulk actually had a lot improvements and less annoying mechanics than Hulk Ultimate Destruction.
