for the last question in the quiz you did it in the erong order. so the equation is 9+7+4*3(8/2-5) outside of the parenthases you added first instead of multiplying the 4 and 3, which is how you got your wrong answer. what you thought was a colon was actually a division sign, though that was a mistake on the creators part. so in the parenthases you would get 8/2-5 = 4-5 = -1. now whats left is 9+7+4*3*-1 = 9+7+12*-1 (remember PEMDAS, multiply first to get the 12, then multiply by -1) = 9+7-12. now just solve straight across. 9+7-12 = 16-12 = 4. so the correct answer is 4

9+7+4x3(8/2-5) first is parentheses, so that gives us 9+7+4x3(-1) I took the liberty of reducing the entire expression because you knew that, and that would mean we multiply 4 by 3, then that by -1 (make the product negative.) now we have 9+7-12 add 9 and 7 16-12 subtract 4 I've had to solve and explain these things for years, I gotchu 😎

The reason it’s four is because if you take any word or sentence and count the number of letters then count the number of letters in that number and continue doing this you will eventually get four. 10 = ten = three = five = four = four.
