In Beijing today, they unveiled the official Olympic Mascot for the 2022 Winter Games. It's an 'ice' panda that goes by Bing Dwen Dwen. Bing Dwen Dwen is interesting but kind of cute and is by no means the worst Olympic mascot we've seen. Is this guy out of his mind? Misha happened to be extremely popular, there was even a cartoon in Japan and during the celebrations of Mickey Mouse's 60th birthday Misha "welcomed" him to then USSR. Misha was even paid tribute during Sochi Winter Olympic 2014. Please, do not underappreciate yourselves: Izzy, Atlanta 1996, was simply horrible, should have been higher on the list.

The backstory animation film of Mishka one of greatest ever. Its s story of a bear taking part of cross country running. He helps everybody in trouble and finishes last. I remember well a shout from a crowd "Haha, The Last one!" A clever fox wins with some cheat. Mishka does not get the medal BUT he is awarded by an eagle (sic!) with becoming an olympic mascot. Yes, Mishka wasn't the fastest but he had the heart and soul.
