Yorick vs Briar is not a bad or the worst match up for one simple reason. Every pick against Briar is a bad match up, I picked her up for top lane, not having any real knowledge in her except form basic knowledge of what her abilities do and one mobafire build guide and got 20 games with 30/4 KD in a row. There is no top oaner that can eat her at any point of the game, not even exhaust, ignite Warwick or ignite Darius. I love that with her I can effortlessly stomp Teemo and adc top mains with her speed up W and instant stun leap. Even if you're opponent has disengage like stun your leap stun completely negates the opponents dissengeage tool. Not to mention she can roam instantly with R and get back to lane with R. She basically has Teleport as her ultimate.

Pretty sure malphite beats her badly if they build tank and aren't bad. Ive play Warwick and Darius those lanes are hard to beat, if the Warwick has half a brain he can just W behind you during your W cast if your not careful. Then her R isn't point and click like a teleport you can easily miss but its a pretty good global for sidelane picks or objectives.

Here is the fundamental problem whit Briar, she is fundamentally an ALL or nothing champ WHIT TOOLS TO DISENGAGE ANY ENGAGE. Imagine if Olaf had an AoE scream that healed him, stunned opponents and was unstoppable? That is Briar. And her design is pathetic, Pantheon+Vex+Olaf+Aatrox.

It doesn't really matter. The amount of damage Briar does is disgusting even if he goes tank. Also going healcut is like putting a bandaid on a cascade. She will outheal the healcut, its a waste of money.

That build you suggested will make trick take years to breach and will still lose to Briar 1v1. Building AD at least gave him a chance to breach but he lost because he made bad decisions here and there.
