I will say, if you had a friend who didn't get to go to Minecon, and you have family members who went to Minecon but they don't really care about a cape, you could give your friend your said family member's code and they would get a cape too. That's why after Minecon 2011, they decided to use codes.

I have been scammed before as someone posing to be a discord employee got me to think he worked for discord and locked me out of my account. If I had to have a cape it'd be the 2011 Minecon cape. I love the color red and the creeper is such a icon in the community!

I was actually scammed before. I was pretty stupid. I got an SMS stating that I had a package at the post office, but that I had to pay like a few bucks to come pick it up. It redirected to a very official looking post office site where I could enter my card details. A few days later I started getting dosens of charges from some back alley country that I’ve never even heard of. So yeah. Stay safe out there people. Rather physically go to or call the official sites when getting stuff like this.

I would get the Minecon 2011 cape as I was not born at that time and no I have never in my entire life been scammed before as I have rarely gone on minecraft untrusted websites and minecraft emails.

2011 minecon was applied directly on the account/username while the other ones were applied with a code

@@Awdfrghyjelr That's what makes the 2011 Minecon cape so much more rare. You had to go to Minecon 2011 if you wanted the cape. (If only I was older than 1 year old and into Minecraft then. I wouldn't even need to take a plane. I could've just done a 6 hour drive! Sigh.)

To answer your question, i would like to have the minecon 2012 cape, it just looks nice to me. however i never got to get the Minecon 2016 cape because by the time I found out that they even existed, it was too late. I didn't have Minecraft on pc back then. I also played on an account that I definitely would not be able to access today from how old it is. On the topic though, I would like the 2012 cape but as I have said before, I probably wouldn't use it.

I bought a 2016 minecon cape the account was legit I had it for almost 2 years, but then the Microsoft account got locked because Microsoft figured out it got sold and I wasted 200$ and the looked at the lock reason was for the account getting hacked/phished so I think the person that sold it to me used a phishing website or link and now thinking about it I feel bad for the original owner now
