That supply lines mission is forever gonna haunt me. First ever run of the game, this mission took me a few tries and when I finally passed it, I was going to save to a safehouse ( good old days, just a simple memory card on the ps2) and the power went off, so I had to replay the mission again next time 😂

This mission isn't as bad as people make it out to be. If you're a beginner though... Ohh good lord... Me personally... After I realized holding throttle wastes fuel and the plane stays airborne for as long as you adjust your altitude with your controls you should be fine.

on god in the 1.0.0 relaease on PC, if you just tap the throttle while airborne as well as letting off of the throttle and slowing down when you have a shot lined up and just rain lead on those busters

Dude I just finished this mission on my ps4 and they made it even easier. The fuel goes down much, much, much slower. I was at 75% when I finished supply lines. You know what's the real hardest mission? End of the line. If you don't have good guns good lord are you gonna have a hard time.

I agree with Felix. That’s one of the first things I noticed. On PS2, by the time you destroy the 3rd runner, your fuel is Halfway gone. So not only do you have to focus on avoiding getting shot down and crashing the toy plane that’s hard to control. You also have to worry about running out of fuel, which happened to me before after destroying all 5 runners. Smh lol

This is actually not as bad as the toreno missions. Especially the mission where he makes you fly low with horrible draw distance. Same with the one where you have to destroy the boats while being chased by the military.

easy way around both of these missions is on the n.o.e mission where you stay under the radar...go to the edge of the map and hover over the water then at the very end go to the corona, a lot less trees to deal with. for the carrier mission. blow up 2 fighter jets with bombs and you'll only have 1 spawn, if you fly under the bridge, the one that spawns hits the bridge...no dogfight needed.

Supply Lines was a literal nightmare for me when I played this on mobile... New Model Army was so long and boring for me... Second time I did it, I had to destroy the tanks first before putting the bridges and removing the barrels.

I use the barrels to destroy the tanks, you just need to drop them 2 times but it's better than coming back for the bomb.

Supply lines was the easiest for me i got it in first try all i did was just land near them and shoot them... the key is to land and drive and shoot them diving the plane is not very effective.

This mission is pretty easy for me nowadays, I think the overly sensitive steering on the rc plane is irritating but if you land behind the vehicles before shooting it's pretty easy.

Yup you can blow up Berkley's copter in the old version too. I discovered that in the late 00s but it was a pretty cool find when I did find it. I basically would do that first for the fun of it.

Heh, I always dropped the bomb on Berkley's helicopter first while Zero stayed back without any bridge. Then I bomb the tanks. Finally I start laying planks for Zero.

PC is extremely easy, compared to console, since you have more control with a mouse than a joystick for a controller.

i recently played through it on my ps2 and jesus it took me a good 10-15 tries to beat air raid. imo supply lines is definitely overrated it only took me 2 tries to beat it

@@kagan3421 completely agree. Air raid is a pain in the ass challenge but not in a good way. Limited field of view and poor accuracy with mini gun just make it aggravating. The ones controlling the RC's are a challenge, but to at least, I enjoy the challenge of those. Its mostly mastering the controls of them.

I think the main reason for air raid being hard to me is the sensitivity, its way to high to accurately aim it and with it being on the ps2 they didn't have sensitivity settings yet so its hell.

Just want to say congrats on the 1 million subs! I was nervous as hell livestreaming these missions as I remember them being so difficult, but feel they were a lot easier. Possibly caused I clocked so many hours on the when i was younger. Driving the plane on the road while shooting is the best strategy also, thing does not fly well

Air Raid wasn't that hard for me, since i played in my PC, i have full control with the mouse so I passed it on first try, but Supply Lines, dear god, was a nightmare for me in 2014, i was only 7, i cried a lot after failing so much time, but my father passed the mission for me. But now in 2022, i know how to pass this awful mission, do not hold the W button, press it only when necessary, it will save the fuel. The only thing you have to look out for is that guy on the dirt bike who'll shoot at you, fly far from him and shoot. For New Model Army, my father told me to destroy the tanks first, set the planks above the gaps, destroy Berkley's RC helicopter, and then move the barrels in Zero's way. I still use that strategy to pass this mission. You have to act fast tho.

Tips for new players, fly above the bike riders (nearest small building level), away from their bullet range, but your plane has a really good range and just spray the bike with bullets until the bike explodes or the passenger dies.

The worst part of Supply Lines to me is not the fuel because i can handle it even with me going all throttle especially if you just land then shoot the enemy on the ground to make the shooting easier, the worst part is THAT terrible Biker on the Sanchez (usually the 4th Target) They can easily blew you up from the air unlike other targets and if you ground yourself, they can either quickly eacaped or quickly blow you up. Everyone talked about the fuel bit nobody talked about that cursed Sanchez Twins. Note, try to go to Zero's in a bike instead of a car because i believe that the Vehicle Accuracy Glitch happen which is a speedrun thing existing in missions like Sweet's Girl, Green Goo, and possibly this mission, if the last vehicle you entered is a car and not a bike, the enemies became a lot more accurate when you're in a vehicle and it persists even after you exit vehicle until you switch to other ones. Although since RC Baron is counted as a Plane, it could be that the accuracy IS increased anyway.

Hey Professional, If I'm not mistaken, the Tigers Berkley has are actually the Tiger (P), the rival design to the Henschel Tiger, designed by Ferdinand Porsche. The famous car designer. Fun Fact: The Tiger (P) used a hybrid Diesel-Electric engine, as Porsche was very fond of the concept of hybrid engines. The tank did technically enter service as a tank destroyer, but was prone to break downs from the electrical systems.

Those RC tanks are Porsche Tiger tank, only one tank was produced while the rest of existing chassis became Ferdinand tank destroyers. The Tiger that everyone knows is Henschel Tiger tank

It’s definitely been made easier on the remaster, I did it on the 2nd attempt. I couldn’t tell you how many I had back in 2004 but it was at least 10. Fuel gauge goes down a lot slower now, although the plane is still impossible to control. It’s been the case with all of the infamously difficult missions across the remaster trilogy. Demolition Man and The Driver in VC, easy now and the games have been better for it. Don’t feel like you’re being stonewalled out of the rest of the game.

There are RC models of the tiger and there is an actual operating tiger left which is tiger 131 which was captured in tunasia by british 48th royal tank regiment during ww2 and is now preserved at the Bovington tank musuem in England

When I do air raid, I have one problem that affects the flying of the definitive edition. The rudders don't work while I'm in the air, but when I'm on the ground the rudders work fine, it seems like the l2, and r2 buttons don't seem to respond while I'm in the air, only the joystick works. So flying at them, and firing at the same time is pretty much impossible for me at this point. It's still doable, I just have to get on the ground around them, to shoot them, taking them out.
