from 0:00 to 1:25 are so relatable dude. it feels like this game is slowly and slowly not listening to there players, not working on the game for the better but instead make it more of a cash grab, i’ve been seeing its player count and i sometimes saw it at even 2K Less. That’s almost as bad as them 11 months ago, which is when the game was still new. the only way they can “revive” the game, is to make the free weekends and listen to the players. the hacker problem is killing me mentally so much, all the loot i got disappearing into mere ashes by some cheap shot by a hacker, i just don’t understand how people can play this game for so long as other people without quitting atleast once.

i stayed up til 12 last night waiting for the free weekend to start and i was lwk stoked. until they reinstate it, i will not buy the game, and the bad news for the devs is that i'm pretty sure at least half the playerbase feels that way

Hello Wicky, I am small aftermath youtuber, Yeah I agree with you the not free weekend thing is killing the game. The game now is really boring now. Free weekend brought new players, players that wanted to test out the game before buying. I think they are just money hungry and it is absolute bullshit. Figured id do my best to clear things up in this reply because false information like this is what is killing the game. The discontinuation of free weekend was not due to greed or a want for more money by the owners of the game. In fact, free weekend is what made the game a steady income for those working on it. Free weekend was discontinued due to the impact it had on the Roblox algorithm. Before the change in algorithm, free weekend caused the game to get abnormally high recommendations to new people who hadn't played the game before. Roblox saw this and changed it so that a game will be recommended less by the algorithm if a free weekend occurs. This caused a tank in home recommendations and therefore concurrent players over time which leads to less people buying the actual game.

Games still in early access, They're not focused on players atm as much as they're trying to update and fix the game. I'm sure eventually they will add free weekends again, or make the game entirely free, but for now, no. Confused why people call the devs greedy, when they didn't even have to do the free weekends to begin with. As a huge fan of this game I do appreciate y'all's concerns of the game, and am actually willing to buy the game for some of yall if money is an issue.

I'm going to be honest. I havent played aftermath for months. I decided to play the game today with friends. Upon joining I was greeted with barely 70fps and dropping to 40 most of the time unless you are outside of a populated place. Before when I used to play months ago the FPS wasnt the best but it was fairly smooth and enjoyable, atleast FPS would be why you would die often. Now the FPS is constantly at 40 and then fog or rain comes and its even worse. Not to mention the inventory system still feels slow and sluggish with many QOL features just not existing that should be basically necessary for the game to be enjoyable. Other bugs like teammate location icons on the map teleporting around and not showing correctly, etc. I dont really care about the robux, but I definitely will not be returning to the game again anytime soon.

I also started playing this during the free weekend played for the entire weekend then I bought it played it for a couple of months then I leave for like 2 months come back and they’ve only updated it one time and also took the best part of the game out. Idk if you can get this to somebody important but it’s 1000% the cheaters making the game no longer enjoyable. This is by far the biggest issue. I’ve ran into so many flying people, flying trucks, I’ll camp silently in a two person and the cheater comes straight to me every time I respawn and wall bang me. They all have SVDs now so we never see where they are. If they fixed the cheating issue and maybe revamped the map everyone would come back. I pray aftermath will be my favorite game again

They got arid of free weekend to prepare for the release of the game since they are adding a lot of stuff. After the release the game will always be free just like any other game. Another reason for getting arid of free weekend is to get money to improve the game. Not letting out any hate just clearing some stuff up for people who might not understand.

In short aftermaths is screwed and will not be popular its better to just play project delta i started like 2 hours and got the gist of it so in response to your recent community post project delta is just a better aftermath and will definitely be good and moderate for you to learn and get a hang of it.
