It's easy to look down the line and not be able to tell where you're at - which is why Reid should have been informed the first, 2nd, or 3rd time he lined up like that, so this didn't happen. Hence: why Mahomes and Reid were upset. I know this is a bit more complex and nuanced than 2+2, so it might be out of reach for the average Chiefs hater to comprehend.

Growing up, I never remember someone telling me if I was across the line. We lined up from the center out. So now these guys get paid millions and they blame someone else for their mistakes. Plus they threw the flag right when the ball was moved. It's not like they did this cool play to win and then a flag was thrown. This is a mistake that is rarly made at the HS level much less professional. If you watch the plays he is in, most the game he was in the neutral zone, but not as bad as that play.
