Set in Seoul in the 1990s, a former DJ starts selling a new powerful drug nicknamed "Gangnam Crystal" in city nightclubs after mastering a gangster organization. Since the police know little about the origin of such drugs, in order to crack down on this rampant drug trafficking organization, rural police officer Park Jun Mu is assigned to sneak into the organization, only to discover that his wife, Yoo Eui Jung , also a detective, has volunteered to participate in this dangerous mission and seems to have an unspeakable past with the heinous underground drug king. Park Jun Mu in this drug-related mission, not only does he wholeheartedly fight the drug cartel, but also works hard to protect his wife's safety at all times.

so true ! he is such an incredibly versatile actors and one of the few k actors who can do action dramas and fight scenes really well. The only other one that impressed me was Vagabond Lee seunggi

What Junmo (Changwook’s character) did was absolutely not worth the grades. He could’ve died a lot of times, killed a lot of people, probably lost his relationship with his wife, will never see the woman he fell in love with (Haeryun), and I feel like the worst of this is that he betrayed Gicheol, even ended up killing him when they both saved each other’s lives… Loooove the edit btw I’m sorry but I was so immersed in the comment that I completely forgot what was the reason for it in the first place

Yeah I think that's the point of the show. Every single character is neither black or white, just grey. Junmo's drive was to be elevated at work, it was to get rid of the inferiority complex he felt with his wife's family. That was his one drive and he was going to do anything to achieve it. He might have formed relationships (however skewed and toxic they might have been) but none of them were worth sacrificing his dream and drive. The only casualty was him loosing his marriage which was a variable he didn't initially consider possible at all, and I feel he also killed the guy cos of that.
