This is gonna sound weirdly edgy but the audio removal update was mostly pretty creepy on the other side. Try to think that there are dead and abandoned Roblox games that nobody plays anymore but once you try to explore those games that used to be popular alone, you'll hear nothing but an eerie sign of silence and loneliness. All what's left is the regular walking sfx piled up with the quiet ambient. I get that the audio removal was a pretty god-awful decision but overall, its pretty creepy if you think about it on another side/tone.

I really wish you mentioned what they did to the toolbox. I’m sure everyone just about knows how people would steal models and load them up with “viruses”. Roblox’s solution to this was to limit the toolbox search to only users who were verified. Yes, it could be toggled but that’s not the only thing they did. They also removed the search feature where you could sort things by recently updated, relevance, etc. This has made finding new assets just as hard as it is to find new games and I’ll say it’s just as bad as the audio update. I could go on and on about the changes to studio and how they’re not exactly dev friendly but I thought I should mention it. There also is an issue that I assume is still ongoing where users get banned for unknowingly inserting a inappropriate asset in their game. Like the viruses, it’s not really apparent until you insert it into your game. I’m not sure how many people have fallen for this considering you can get a preview but it’s easy to just click and fall victim. Anyways enough of a long rant. I wish you and anyone unfortunate enough to read this a happy new years!

I think the worst thing that’s happened last year for Roblox is the deletions of all the blogs. So much of Roblox history was removed whether it was great or terrible things. Reminds me of the Thumbail & Game Icons update long ago, where they reset the icon/thumbnail of all games to that default ones with Roblox logo. The update make changing thumbnails free which is nice; but old, dead games with devs who already quit Roblox remains with the default thumbnail. It make finding a specific classic games a pain since they all now look the same. With this, Blog wipe, and the attention shifting to Rthro, I'm sure Roblox is really trying to hide their past. At least we still have Wayback Machine.

I remember the audio update. I play a game called SCR [SCR is a British railway simulation game] and the sounds for the class 43 HST were absolutely messed up. now the engine idle and initial engine acceleration sounds were fine but the sounds for the engines at power and the turbocharger were all but gone. thankfully, this as fixed and we have had no further issues with the in-game sounds since.

One controversy that people might’ve forgotten but I haven’t is in February of 2022 where Roblox released a toy based on a character called Cheshy from a Roblox game called Astral Hearts. A little fun fact about this: She actually was an npc and her only appearance was in the Egg hunt 2020: Agents of E.G.G. My opinion about #2b: As I understood people were banned for simply mentioning word furry, no matter if it was positive ir negative in the context. Although your theory has place to be, it would be unlikely that hundreds of furries would still be banned on usual matter only for their avatars and such. It's more likely the other way around, as this community is highly misunderstood, Roblox moderators could have been abusing their powers to try to simply eradicate any presence of them while "trying" to stay low. There are furries that would do such thing as ban any negative mentions of them unfairly (so your explanation is more than possible), but such people exist in every community if you think of it. I don't have full picture of this story, thus I can't say for sure. All theories have a place to be.

The worst one unmentioned and for me I remember was a game called Boys and Girls dance club. This game had a huge amount of online daters, but most of them weren't the typical "Let's get married" type ones but ones that did NSFW stuff. Everybody on that game was horny. And when I would troll these people, sometimes I would find them asking for snapchat and one even offered to show "naughty photos" on discord. Luckily that madness was banned, as when everybody was playing we were teleported to that first place map and realized the game has ben delivered the ban hammer.
